the contract deployment is in case they give something for devs who deployed on zksync
i dont think any other chain has done so, so youre probably fine if you forgo this step

there's no hype about polygon zkEVM and the only bridge at the moment is from the ETH network. idk man... I don't think this one goes anywhere. I personally just don't have the energy for another fucking chain. my metamask RPC list is out of control already

I'm mostly using Orbiter Finance and switching my eth back between ZkSync, Arbitrum Nova, and Orbiter. All three are rumoured to have airdrops in the future and the fees are really low, so I figure it's a good way to build some volume.
