I run a cinema business, I have a chain of cinemas in my own country. It was a lot of work when I was younger. Setting up the cinema, hiring staff, establishing a customer base etc. Then there's all the networking, contract negotiating and the mountain of shit you have to deal with as a small/starting business. Then you have the responsibilities of all the wages under you.

At some points I was working 90hr weeks just getting all the shit done, I didn't travel and I spent most of my money back on the business making it what it is today.

Now that its close to 15years down the line this shit is a lot easier. The business largely runs itself and I have a lot more free time and money. I can travel regularly and spend time with my family and on my hobbies.

Self Employment isn't for everyone either, I find a lot of people just don't have the mentality.
