I am 31 years old, living with my parents for almost a year and have not had a job in 18 months. What is something productive that I could begin right now to increase my odds of ever getting a job/building a career that does not make me want to kill myself?

I know, when I worked it was at the point where I would consider driving into a telephone pole most mornings during my commute because it was better than going to work. Night security job sounds comfy but they all pay shit where I am, like $16/hr canadian

tending to flowers, volunteering at a shelter for animals, elderly, sick kids, special needs. just walk around town cleaning up trash and helping sort it for local recycling. panhandle. hitchhike west as far as you can without getting molested. bird watching. fishing or hunting, foraging and selling what you can at the upcoming opening of farmers markets. soup kitchen help. exercise. advocate for tax evasion on an anime website.
