So if you looked at the Stoch RSI on the 24th/25th you knew BOTH that the dump was coming (down from 27.9k to 27.2k) (thanks to the 1d) and then that it would micro-pump a few hundred from 27.2k (thanks to looking at the 4h).

Not how it works. See what happened in 2015 after BTC already "bottomed" at 166.45 in January. It dumped to 162 in August. See how the Stoch RSI looked on the 1W prior to the 162 bottom; then see how that dump made the Stoch RSI appear on the 1M. On the 1M the Stoch RSI didn't change much, only the blue line went down a tiny bit. You see, any fast big movements on the lower timeframes like 1W and 1D followed by a subsequent fast big reversal won't effect the 1M much or any.

If what that anon described happens again (the scenario with the dump from 166.45 to 162) the equivalent today would be BTC bottoming out at 10k or so (due to the larger USD value attached to BTC today and the market itself being much larger). Which in effect means more than doubling your coins from here entirely for free. Which then in turn later grows into massively increased future profits (versus if you didn't more than double them). So quite the opposite of "fighting for pennies". So if you have say 45k worth of BTC now, it can turn into 126k worth of BTC at the bottom, which later in the future is worth 1.26 million instead of 450k.
