I don't think this trading this is for me. After a year, I'm finally at the point where I want to give up.

And yes, you need to quit until you examine what you did wrong in every trade and find a system that actually works.

I realized this in 2021 after missing out on $800k and losing $40k. The taxes were brutal too. Now I just trade in my retirement accounts. GBTC, ETCG, IBKKF(cardano), and other crypto associated penny stocks.

trading is hard. its more art than science. you actually need several years and see the full extent of a cycle to gitgud. experience matters more than anything imo and you need to specialise in your innate strength.

These fucking exchanges trade against you and try to trap and liquidate you, the only way to win is to use low leverage and even then you're not truly safe.

>> No.54339291

>>54339274
true, but they just try to hit your stops, not really liquidate your account. price would not move very far if they didn't liquidate people's stops

>> No.54339523

>>54339291
just gotta enter when people's stops are at, not that hard.

>> No.54339620

>>54339523
wrong, half the time price just keeps going after hitting people's stops...

the areas you want to focus on are the ones where they take out both longs and shorts, at the same time.

>> No.54339757

>>54339620
well that's where risk management comes in. If you can enter even half of the time at higher high or lower low and it reverses hard the other direction, you just made an impressive RR trade which should more than compensate for the other half of the time where it keeps going and going and stops you out.

every paper trading platform has shit-tier spread and horribly lagging price that makes it not very good to learn on. could just track it in excel I guess but that's too much work

If you really want it bad then I've heard good thing about this resources:

Bruh, it's these plebs out here making some straight up stoopid ass moves on trades. Like, who even told them to buy right now? Don't they see how wack the market is right now? We been shouting since 19k, 15k, but they was all like "3k is coming, bro." Now look at 'em, low lives slurping at 28k. We still early in the game, but mark my words, they gonna be crying real soon. Meanwhile, they over here sleeping on alts like Rune, Muse, Ride, RLC, Ldo, and all that. They can't even count their teeth, yet they out here claiming to know TAs. BAKA.

Based and this pilled. Every time I've tried to trade shit on a relatively short time frame I just end up losing money and get stressed out watching charts all day.

I prefer the brainlet strategy of DCAing into crypto that looks good and holding until the next bull market. Even if what you go with doesn't pump bigly the most likely scenario is that whatever you choose will get pulled up with the rest of the market and make a decent profit regardless.

>> No.54341907

DESU, it all comes down to what kind of alts you're copping. Some might meet your expectations and even go above and beyond, while others are just straight up shitcoins that'll never see the light of day. AI gems are where it's at, chad. That's why I got my eyes on Ocean, Asto, and AGIX - those are the big ones right there.

Not everyone likes looking at the screen every second of the day, even my anti-bluray glasses are failing me, so I get tokens I've done research on like UMOON, Ride, Stg, and more I do the needful like stash them till there's a good TP point.

Look up John Templeton. He became a billionaire by value investing and holding long term. His average hold was 4 years. 1 year is nothing.
