No, it actually signs a message on the blockchain which locks the funds. Recovery won't reset the blockchain state, the only way is for price to reach the lock level

You can do a bip-339 reversal to unlock it but you're going to have to write a python script. Also you're going to have to carefully remove the backplate (without triggering the mercury tamper switch) to get the mac address to do this
