About $10million at my guess.
But that is not enough, you also have to be actively working on your habits.
Especially the habit of researching the latest breakthroughs in health improvement, both weighing the scientific evidence, and companies product offerings e.g. medical scans, surgeries, drugs, protocols.
To judge if they are legit healthspan enchancers or useless scams, you're going to need knawlage, so get reading those medical textbooks everyday.
Finally it's a game of inches, to last long enough to get access to the future technology needed, so your habits of healthy eating and exercise must also be top notch.
Good luck, and remember: first guy to die, loses!
Live long and prosper.

We are literally less certain of the mechanics of age-related brain diseases than we were a decade ago, on account of the current paradigm of "research", "experimentation", and profit motive exacerbated by hard-negative population growth and gerontocratic interests.

Without writing up a big post, It's basically that since the mind can understand abstract objects, which we call the Forms, part of the mechanism behind your thinking is immaterial. The idea of a triangle is real, since there are many triangles in the world, but it's also immaterial since no one triangle can be triangularity itself. A thing cannot perform an action that isn't within the realm of possibilities dictated to it by its nature, so in order to understand an immaterial concept, the mind must be partly immaterial. Since it is immaterial, it lives on past death.

Of course, a lot of thoughts are material. Like if you enjoy good food, admire a cute girl, etc. Just that the mind is not fully material. And yes, this does mean that the part of you that lives on is a greatly reduced version of yourself. If there was no resurrection of the dead, this would be kind of shit desu

For me it was being about 13, watching a sunset on a great summer day, seeing the stars begin to poke out during twilight, and suddenly realizing how I would at one point completely cease to exist with no memory of any of the beautiful and wonderful things I had enjoyed, just as some Indians probably watched the same view on the same part of Earth I was standing on, thousands of years before me, also forgotten. It's not a fear in the sense that it doesn't give me diarrhea to think about it, but it's this constant voice telling me that I'm going to die and that an infinite amount of time will pass me just as there was an infinite amount of time before me.

I could deal with conscious observer incorporeality, I'm not terribly attached to myself, but I don't want to stop experiencing the world. I experienced sedation using propofol for a colonoscopy last year, at first I was just talking to the butt doctor, next thing I know I'm back in the waiting room, wondering when the operation is going to start, and it's not until he tells me my diagnosis that I realize it was already over. It's not even the process that's terrifying; a rando could shoot me in the head and if he hit my brain at the right angle, the experience would be just as instantaneous and painless as sedation. It's the finality.

Death is the only relevant question in life and I have been obsessed with it from a young age, passing up many of the temporary pleasures that life has to offer, because there is no solace in them for me.

I cannot take pleasure in relationships or even the love of cute girls . My life is a constant anxiety about the essential doom of the human condition. I'd like to just numb myself out and distract myself with duty, entertainment and family like all the normies, but it's impossible for me. I tried many times and failed. The only solution seems to be to completely abandon all human experience in the Buddhist sense as being absolutely not ownable, but when it came to it, I didn't have the courage to abandon my comfy neet life and tendies to become a Buddhist forest monk.

Having seen, monks, the impermanence, changeability, absence of
lust for and ceasing of matter (feeling, perception, determinations,
consciousness), and that matter (…consciousness) was formerly as it
is now, thus seeing with right understanding as it actually is that all
matter (…consciousness) is impermanent, unpleasurable, of a nature
to change, then whatever is the arising of sorrow, lamentation,
pain, grief, and despair, those are eliminated. These being elimin-
ated, there is no anxiety. Not having anxiety he dwells at ease.
Dwelling at ease, this monk is called ‘extinguished to that extent’.

We saw that there really was no way to overcome the real dilemma of existence, the one of the mortal animal who at the same time is conscious of his mortality. A person spends years coming into his own, developing his talent, his unique gifts, perfecting his discriminations about the world, broadening and sharpening his appetite, learning to bear the disappointments of life, becoming mature, seasoned—finally a unique creature in nature, standing with some dignity and nobility and transcending the animal condition; no longer driven, no longer a complete reflex, not stamped out of any mold. And then the real tragedy, as André Malraux wrote in The Human Condition: that it takes sixty years of incredible suffering and effort to make such an individual, and then he is good only for dying. This painful paradox is not lost on the person himself—least of all himself. He feels agonizingly unique, and yet he knows that this doesn’t make any difference as far as ultimates are concerned. He has to go the way of the grasshopper, even though it takes longer.

True freedom lies only in death, for living = suffering.
All things must come to an end, even the universe itself will die someday - inevitability is, shockingly, inevitable.

>And yes, this does mean that the part of you that lives on is a greatly reduced version of yourself.
what makes you think it's reduced?
matter is just matter, it's dead, worthless
pure thought is the singularity, the source of the movement of the line, the basis of the simulation

remember that your entire life has been lived behind the screen and speakers of your senses, nothing more. you have never actually "seen" anything, sensors on the back of your eyes converted light into electrical signals that went into your brain.
>your eye is an inch thick, you've been looking through an inch of fluid your entire life, your brain just filters it out.

all senses can be fooled or nearly removed, but if you stuck a pure brain in a vat, would it still think? if it had never experienced any senses? never heard a sound or saw or felt? what would it think?
>were 30 years away from this shit happening, horrors beyond your comprehension.

i'll take fading out into the void over being stuck in a brain jar hooked to electrodes for infinite time, but that's already what's happening.

People that think like this have not realized the realness of death. They keep the realness of it separated by several degrees of separation in their mind, only thinking in words like "death", "corpse" or images like a skull, grave stone, coffin etc.

When you really realize what death is, there is no comfort, no consolation. Beasts in nature eat and kill each other all around us. Humans kill each other constantly. We are the devils, and our punishment is to see sudden death or slow disease kill everyone around us that we love until we eventually succumb to it as well.

Oh but yeah that Bitcoin guys uhh, money! I can buy things and forget about death. Quick, get some fast food! Oooh, watch some porn! 22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

Consciousness is forever because consciousness collapses wave functions. If the consciousness went away, the wave function confirming your “death” wouldn’t collapse. Quantum immortality is real. The final terrifying realization is that the endless “somethingness” is far scarier than the endless “nothingness”. Consider the fact that, in an infinite universe you are more likely to exist in a brief and agonizing configuration of particles known as a “Boltzmann brain” than you are to exist as a comfy human. This will be the majority of your infinite existence, if you can’t learn how to control how the wave functions collapse. Once you learn to collapse wave functions with desired outcomes, you become God. The problem with being God, of course, is what do you do for eternity? I guess wiping our memory and experiencing the thrill of “death” is what we come up with, otherwise we wouldn’t exist here as we do in the first place.

Christ told us about this. His true teachings never viewed his miracles as something distinguishing him from other humans. He told the philistines, “is it not written: ‘ye are gods’?”
Christ was an individual who learned to collapse wave functions with desired outcomes, and tried to teach others to do the same. “If a man has the faith of a mustard seed, he can move mountains.” This is meant literally.

Here's the ultimate fucking solution to all you racists frog posters.
I think you're worrying too much about Death. You worry about what happens after the fact, you worry about where things may go or how things will end up. Is it suffering is it hell is it paradise with 1000 virigin anime girls. The answer is not for us to worry about death, but to worry about how we're living our life here on earth this very moment.

>Accepting death will come and there's nothing you can do to delay the inveitable.

Once you cross this line of thinking everything changes. Petty shit no longer gets to you. The news becomes noise. That's why the Ceo of ChatGPT heard these words
>I'm unimpressed
Because what fuck difference does it ultimately truly make? Seriously
Point is life was meant to be an enjoyable experience, and I've long since abandon the idea of "getting rich" and opted to say "Fuck this, what's the most optimal way really experience life on my terms"

Is there only one consciousness or a plurality? If there are many, and my own consciousness disappears, then another consciousness can still confirm my death ("collapse the wavefunction"). If there is one consciousness then maybe this makes sense.

Death is not the end. My dad on 1/7/2023 in the hospital. While he was in a coma some random nurse talked to us in the hall & said that after they die, in her experience they tend to leave messages to let you know they’re okay and that she mainly heard from patient families that they left dimes and feathers.

Didn’t think much of it. After he died, my sister and I went to his apartment building to begin boxing up his belongs, no one had been in since he’d been taken to the hospital earlier that week. The first drawer I opened was his bed side table drawer and the only thing inside it was a dime.
