If btc goes to the current gold market cap that's 300k or whatever, easily doable.
Once btc passes 1 trillion market cap a bunch of slow moving ultra large players suddenly consider it eligible and that's not to say they go balls deep or anything but yes they dip their toes in.
When the dollar and euro start shitting the bed noticiably people will notice there isn't really anywhere to run to by default and although many countries and large entities will be fine using the ruble, yuan and keeping some USD and EUR around along with gold they will start to look irresponsible if they don't have some btc to speak of on their books.
And as all of this happens people who evangelize btc will be doing better and better, working harder and harder while nation states like el salvador start looking brilliant and other nation states start to wade in the waters.
