Why does the stock market go down when the FED pivots?

Doesn't this mean "wow, the rates are finally going down, easier money is coming again which means I can get money easier for my business/people will also be able to get money easier which means more sales" should make the stock market go up? Or after the FED pivots a recession happens which means less people buying and thus stock market goes down due less sales and this effect is stronger than the good news of lowering rates?

Also, would you buy gold? I have 500k€ in cash. The idea was to stay in cash until the FED pivots and the market starts crashing, then DCAing all the way down to get exposure to cheaper prices, while not gambling with gold. Gold beat the stock market during july 2008 until september 2013 but when it crashed and the stock market started winning again it happened fast, so who is to say you don't get out? seems safer to just stay within the same asset and keep DCAing until you start winning again.

Then there's BTC which is still yet to prove it can decouple from the SP500 during a recession. Who seriously believes it will? And even if it did, who seriously believes they wouldn't just cause a liquidity crunch banning all exchanges? (all liquidity lies within US and EU's reach). And even if the price did good in other exchanges, what for if you cannot exchange it for real state or anything relevant since they would ban gains comming from it too. This is the problem.

Then there's bonds which I don't fully understand, and I apply the same logic to gold. Bonds may beat the SP500 for a couple years but at some point they will quickly crash so you have to time the market, vs just buying the SP500 cheaper for that period of time.
