anon you remind me of myself in 2012 when I blew my account up chasing the commodities bubble; I hope you're young enough that you still have time to make real investments after you realize that your current investment strategy is a cash bonfire

I understand the concern,

I am following Bob Moriarty who buys the penny dreadfuls that react like shitcoins. I am 31 with no debt and have the VA for a 0 down home loan and 1600oz of physical silver.

Either I make it or lose what would of been a down payment on a home.

christ anon, you're my age and you're still throwing money away like this?

at least do the reasonable thing and stop putting any more money into your shiny rock money pit. If you wanna allocate 10 or 20% of your portfolio to speculating on shiny rocks, fine, but please let the other 80 or 90% of your investments be sensible stuff like index funds, large caps, bitcoin, etc.

we humans tend to believe that hard work --> better results, but when it comes to investing, spending hours of your life researching dogshit penny stocks is just gonna trick your brain into thinking you did good work / that your penny stocks will do well, when in reality you're playing yourself and you'd be better off putting your money into an index fund (but that seems too simple/easy so your brain refuses to believe it)

I understand how you bought the last top in 2012 anon…those are all bubbles pushed by a credit expansion that took place for the last 40 years.

I am sorry but the bottom is in for shiny rocks, thank you for the good tip!

gold price: up 13% since 2012 (but actually down 12% if you adjust for inflation)
silver price: down 34% since 2012 (more like 50% if you adjust for inflation)
Newmont Corporation (#1 biggest gold miner): down 22% since 2012
Barrick Gold Corporation (#2 largest gold miner): down 60% since 2012

S&P 500: more than 300% return since 2012

it must feel terrible knowing that you could've bought a nice house with your gains if you hadn't wasted your life collecting shiny rocks and waiting for the apocalypse that never seems to happen

there's an inherent difference between numbers on a screen, which have transfer delays, bank reviews & (((authorization)))

imagine not having 10k "cash", 1k oz silver, 10oz gold in your safe AND having stocks, crypto + 6 months deenz, beans n rice, water etc all available to you within 5 minutes
