Stocks will keep going up at least until they start going down again. We will know for sure when that happens because price changes will switch from an upward direction to a downward one. The main indicator that we can use to identify this switch is that we will start to see stock prices falling instead of rising. That will tell us when returns on stocks have begun changing from positive to negative. With negative returns, that means that stock values will be shrinking rather than growing. Thus, the prices at which stocks are bought and sold will be going down instead of going up. In fact, if a stock's price is changing, then that means it is either falling or rising.

If anyone should find themselves needing this tomorrow when it's over here it is, just save the text or link and have it on the ready for it being over. It's over.

https://biblehub.com/kjv/psalms/23.htm

1{A Psalm of David.} The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

It's over.

I hope all of you will make it tomorrow when it's over. Just hold on through whatever it is no matter what and live for it to be over another day when it's over tomorrow. You don't want to miss the next time that it's over over it being over tomorrow. It's just not worth it so just let it being over get over.

It's over.

May the LORD GOD Almighty bless and keep (You) through all the being over.

It's over.

It's over.

At one point in time they all had extremely high short interest. GME was a true short squeeze that has now left behind a cult.

AMC was redditors that saw the GME squeeze and wanted a repeat. The cult force is much weaker and the underlying company is in distress so it's slowly faded as they fight a CEO that really just wants to abuse the hype and dilute them to death.

BBBY had Ryan Cohen, a GME board member, buy a stake and put out some PR trying to force some change. This naturally caused a rally from the same cultish meme stock investor crowd. Unfortunately it's the worst of the three and literally in bankruptcy, so they all got slaughtered. Can't squeeze a company that no longer exists.

If you are referring to showing how stupid we were for occupying it for 20 years without even really extracting anything of value from it.

The Chinese literally wrote a strategy document in early 2000s that was basically "LOL those retarded US gweilos are wasting so much time and money on the middle east for no real reason. They're so focused on this dumb shit we're gonna have like 20 years to sneakily prepare to unseat them." I'm sure they wrote another one in 2014-ish laughing how stupid we were for thinking we could use Ukraine to somehow splinter Russia, instead of how it would drive them to ally China.

Basically it's been all downhill for the empire since they stopped listening to Kissinger. The string-pulling Jews that have come after him have largely been idiots.

Fed answers largely to big US commercial banks, not WEF. There's a deep divide because the US commercial banking system has zero interest in being absorbed by the gov for the new model of capital allocation.

'Stakeholder Capitalism' is just poorly re-branded communism after all, and bank heads for all their evil ways aren't commies because that implies some clueless politburo telling them who to give loans to and frankly less overall money to be made.

Thoughts on Brazilian stock market? American here. I bought about 4k in PBR. Looking to sell puts of PBR as well for some premiums, i dont mind buying more.

Ive looked at the EWZ brazil index and its performance is identical to PBR so I dont see the need for an index.

I have nothing but disdain for index maker salesmen. They're selling the commercialization of someone elses commercialization of someone elses, generally, actual production.

Being twice disconnected from reality allows a manipulation of discussion that routinely aims to turn, the views of the listener on actual productive labors, into disdain for the purposes of unspoken primary goals. Those goals are as petty as personal grievance with a company employee, or as greedy and destructive as international espionage in black propaganda.

For instance, the number of "zombie" companies has decreased with 2008, perhaps, but the number of ponzi companies wholly dependent on constant influx of share purchases seems to have exploded. The difference, if I might offer, the zombie is in great amounts of debt but alive on loans, crafty paperwork timing, and merchant trading agreements, in addition to stock sales. Where on the other, while the ponzi is simply failing to produce much of anything and showing large influxes of currency based only on the sale of stocks.
And then there are the SPACs without the title.
>>54257600
Anon, I haven't used cash in months. That is precarious, I absolutely agree. But if I were to deny that I am benefited on immediate time, I'd lie. The amount of time to exchange 13.38 at a cashier is anywhere between 5 and 25 seconds, imo. The card I've been using is approved in 3-6 seconds, every time. The cashier has to count his bills every night and morning, that takes at least a minute on both sides. He also has to carry cash to a bank, that takes 10-40 minutes or longer depending on location. Plus the criminal risk.

Criminal Risk: If humanity can act in good faith in a market, the risk of not having minted is minimal. This is where you lever, and I admit, inflation...

Fed shitpost coming tomorrow. It'll probably be wacky. Bottom? I have no clue. I don't even know how the market is going to react to the expected 25 bps rate hike. The mega bull case is Fed decides to pause hikes. I think that's unlikely but if that happens you can expect the market to hit the turbo. Maybe. If it dumps on a 25 bip hike, that means pretty much the entirety of last week's pump was hopes and dreams and fairy tales and make believe.

This feature appears actually in multiple snipping tools from different devs.
When I saw this It reminded me of last time this was a thing, in XP era maybe I think, saving cropped pics in paint didn't overwrite the 'preview' (thumbnail stored in the img) and via the unchanged preview data you could get the the original pic before cropped.

BRICS is a meme. But dollar losing reserve would be devastating for the federal government in the short term. They would have to default on social security and the military.
If your people get through that turmoil safely and not fall to socialism I can definitely see a bright future for america.
Worst comes to worse your strong federalism would mean states could secede and rebuild a capitalist confederate away from the silly liberals in peace. You got enough arms to defend such a place.
You would be on your own though, the internationalists like EU would surely support the liberal parts.
In either case I see a sharp decline in immigration so your society would be in net negative pop growth. Kinda like japan so that's gonna be your primary existential threat.

On the other hand it could be that the current globalist economy is more than the sum of its parts and it would take decades to recover from the collapse for everyone all over the world. In which case its all fucked.

Question:

If a Brazilian company (say PBR) is listed on the NYSE, and the exchange rate of brazil currency > USD drops, will the stock on the NYSE also drop?

For example, say brazil curreny and USD are equal exchange rate for simplicity sakes. 1 Brazil dollar = 1 USD and PBR Is listed at $20. Now lets say brazil currency loses 50% of its value to USD. Will PBR drop 50%?

They want higher wages, but also want inflation to go down to 2% from ~ 4% currently, but they are monetarily easing. And seem to may start hiking if that 2% goal is being achieved. Are they hoping inflation will go down globewide and thus in Japan because others hike and "do the work"? Looks like this work is failing.
