Previously, I'd heard that Chainlink Labs subsidizes ~70-90% of Node Operator revenue on Ethereum, while a couple of sources even suggested ~90-100%.

My new estimate using on-chain data is ~95-100%.

It turns out that calculating subsidies is as easy as tracing inflows to Price Feed Aggregator Contracts, which send LINK rewards to Node Operators.

So far, these contracts have been funded by 38 wallets, and just 5 of them account for 99% of funds. That makes the job easier.

AFAICT each one of these wallets is funded by Chainlink: Team [0xbe69], Chainlink: Team [0xe036] Chainlink: Operations [0x2715], and/or OKX: Hot Wallet [0x6cc5].

Hence I believe 95-100% of revenue on Ethereum is subsidized.

of course it's 100% subsidized. there's no money to be made providing data like this because you only need to provide it once per epoch and copy it an infinite amount of times.
if you try to make this kind of data middlemaning profitable by jacking up the price you only encourage alternative oracle sources that are self-funded by the platforms and applications the data is needed by, like the way maker already handles the price of assets backing dai.
