My parents inherited wealth so I went to private school. All my friends had their parents getting out mortgages for their children and rented them out to pay it off. My parents ran a couple of businesses that did ok, one that failed in 2008 and they had to sell house, divorce, etc.

I don't think we (2 siblings) do too bad but I figured out pretty quickly that I wouldn't be able to give a meaningful life to kids so I gave up on evolution and became anti-discriminatory. A lot of people have taken advantage of that and now I hate you all :)
