Ok, that makes sense. It's not that it's a straight scam, it's just that the markup right now is abnormally high. Or that it's that much higher because I'm looking at low quantities of mint coins.

What's the advantage of buying large values of silver vs. gold? From what I can tell silver performs worse historically to gold, people have been saying for like 3 years that the GSR will go down soon but even on the brink of a banking crisis it's been flat for years. When you include premiums on silver vs. gold I just don't see a good reason to stack it.
