Most warehouses and construction sites for general labor. At least, until they automate that as well.

Try to get a job at an Amazon warehouse. Most of the jobs there will require almost zero social interaction.

I would although I was working as an amazon delivery driver and enjoyed it but my DSP were a bunch of lying snakes who fucked me over.
The closest warehouse here is about 60 miles away it's not worth my time cause it will destroy whats remaining on my car and I refuse to drive more than 30 min unless I'm being paid now I'd say 30 just to offset the gas
Unless they give me a company vehicle then I'll make due.

i'm a white collar wagie now, but i worked in 2 different grocery stores all throughout college. i liked it. i stocked shelves in general grocery, frozen, dairy, meat, and produce. the only department that sucked was frozen because, despite being exceptionally white, i fucking hate the cold.

Depends who you get as coworkers. they can really make or break things. But I've always had the attitude of making it work no matter what, unless it's completely unfeasible.

I like it because it's a nice mix of autonomy, social interaction, shooting the shit with coworkers and leniency. I find it's pretty stress free as long as you're a worker and don't need to constantly be told what to do.

>> No.54198917

you need years of experience in any job to be hired for anything, according to the job listings. but thats clearly nonsensical for entry level jobs to be making these demands, but they do. consider them more like wishes then demands and apply anyways or maybe lie on your resume, pretty sure everyones doing it.

I've had some luck finding roles off of Indeed. A friend of mine recently for a remote data entry role that way, it pays $25 an hour. Search data entry and Excel, you should find something

> Retail
Might as well also put hospitality onto that. I worked at a Kmart and a Renaissance hotel during college. I absolutely loved both of those jobs. Retail was great. Hours sucked though (no holidays ever) but the people made it a blast.
The hotel job was pretty sick. I would tell people to go to restaurants where I knew the managers and they would give me a kick back of free food of the person told them who sent them.
Had I not got a real job, I would have probably become a le clef d'or concierge at a high end hotel for bougie fucks and maybe relocate abroad.

Reminds me OP, look into getting a hotel night auditor position. You basically don't interact with anyone but run the entire hotel yourself. You do some basic reports here and there and take a walk around but it is dope as fuck.

False, I'm at 145. They want the smartest people possible because they make less mistakes. They, like McDonald's, will deem people "over qualified" if they have high earnings field degrees because those people are statistically likely to leave. They're just using the career as a gig until they find something in their field. If any one department deemed all intelligent people to be waste of resource risks (costs around 80k to train an officer, it hurts the department's finances when they leave) then that department would be retarded because they're taking on liabilities instead of people who will make less mistakes. You've never been involved in management apparently.

>>54201772
I already have 5 years experience and am bow eligible for the 100k+ departments. But they switched from needing 3 references to fucking 7+. Imagine you want to apply to a job but they need you to list 7 people to bug and ask questions about you, that's a ridiculous requirement for a job.

>> No.54201824

>>54201815
Oh yeah and the guy who got denied a job at NYPD was deemed over qualified so he sued making the claim you made and got a fuck off settlement, that's where this meme comes from. Go try to pull something over on a sharp cop and see how it goes. They're not all retards unless you're in the South.

It's high school all over again. You will be shitting liquid in the morning for the first year or so from dirty people that don't wash their hands, if you deal with food. Just be funny/interesting, don't smell like shit, look like shit, and don't stick your fingers in your mouth. Nothing in the store is worth your life.

UPS. You'll get into the union and have great health insurance. Just survive the first month. Be friendly, ignore retards, and Smile a lot. And you can concentrate on whatever it is you're working towards.
