>Bitcoin's pumping because banks are failing!
Yeah, and so are tech stocks.
>We're mooning and that's that!
It was a short squeeze. There's still a realistic possibility it can go the other way. Bitcoin's been dragged towards liquidity for the last year or more.
>Cope, nocoiner.
I hold Bitcoin, fuck off.
>Gold is mooning too! Invalidated!
Gold has been touching and rejecting $2000 for the past 3-4 years.

Fact of the matter is the market (stocks and crypto) are playing chicken with the Fed. There's a narrative the Fed is going to pivot. Maybe, but unlikely. As per pic related, if the Fed comes in with a rate hike stocks are likely to tumble which to past correlates infers Bitcoin should drop as well (maybe there's a decoupling, sure). However do not be surprised if they tamed Bitcoin, and while TQQQ is 3x NDX, Bitcoin has recently assumed the role of something akin to a 6x NDX.

Short version: It's possible market makers are ready for a bull run. It's also possible this was a short squeeze for exit liquidity. Never trust whales. They have their own agenda.

bitcoin is high r/r money, like gold, and traded in the same basket as other high r/r assets.
