Meme chart is invalidated on the weekly. If the candle closes above 25k then the pattern fails. Someone thinks we are at disbelief and is pumping btc to get a rally to the 30k-40k range if they can get normies to dumb their tax returns into btc. Someone thinks it's time for a rally at the 15 month mark from the ATH which is consistent with other runs. What is not consistent with other runs is the longer bull market cycle this time compared to the last with 3 new ATHs in an 8 month span. This would imply a longer sell off period. Maybe both are right and this is a relief rally to the 30k range then we continue the sell off to 12k. Stonks are in the complacency stage thinking that bank failures are part and parcel of a bull run and that we just need to cool off. Maybe this rally is a product of this delusion? Perhaps the stonk crash will be the catalyst to a new btc low?

All I know for sure is that there is a fuckload of sidelined cash desperately waiting for any "acceptable" entry.
Quite literally everyone is just trying to time clicking the Buy button. In the end they will all click it, and that's the important part.

That just means we are in for a lot more pain and crabbing. All this sidelined money has to be depleted before a new bullrun can start. So as long as there is "slurpers" there will be bear market rallies. Only after that liquidity got drained we get to see the real bottom.

A fuckload of liquidity got drained with FTX going down and now even tardfi banks lack liquidity so they need to be bailed out all the while retail struggles to buy damn eggs let alone actual investments.

But I agree that one more flush will happen in some form, mainly to rape all the leveraged positions.

This chart does not 1:1 apply to BTC and some others like ETH. And it has already played out on a lot of altcoins. Check the charts. Depression in December. Also the timeframe on the picture is completely distorted to make it fit the image. The BTC chart is too compressed, you have to draw it out to the right. There was another thread where someone tried to make a point comparing this pictures with overlays of previous bear cycles, but it's invalid timewise. Start of the bearmarket this time was spring 2021 and not November 2021.

>bank failures
Banks wont fail because they print money. But their fiat will be worth less against btc so you can skip out on inflation. The second people realise they can't afford not to do this there will be a bank run like no other.

We could be near at the 5th of an Elliot wave. A reverseal ABC would bring us to below the 4th point which is under 20k, but wouldn't be a new bottom.

So how did Silicone Valley Bank fail then, smoothbrain?
Banks can't print money by loaning money into existence, but the problem now there is noone to loan to and their previous loans are sitting massively underwater.

SVB isn't a bank because it can't print money. It gets to call itself a bank because it's loaning out it's customer assets and has to follow a set of rules for doing so. But because it's not a bank when people withdrew SVB had to liquidate their loans early and take a loss. Real banks just don't liquidate and say their assets are worth what they are "meant" to be worth.

Alts need to get rekt. We will never have a new bull run until 2021 coins are dead the way 2017 coins are dead now. It all must wither away and new even more retarded coins must emerge with new even more retarded concepts than "crypto finance", "web3" "dapps" and "NFT" must emerge to be sold to even greater fools when BTC is 150k.
