I was thinking of the pic describing Venezuelans paying for things with gold flakes, would it be worth getting a small bottle of gold shot instead for this type of situation where you could use it as a fractional payment? eg measuring out 0.25 grams to buy something? Easier than shaving flakes off a small bar, assuming they don't take goldbacks anyway

Thats what their original plan was, but remember, the cryptards whole reason for buying crypto is to get away from government control, if/when they sink crypto they'll send all the crypto heads running to the metals out of pure anger.

Theres one thing ive learned about the cabal over the years, everything they do fails and backfires.

The difference between crypto and precious metals is that crypto has counter party risk, and I'm not talking about another person. The risk is being locked out of the stored wealth, either through equipment or a potential locking. People forget that stuff like this always leaves a trail, and a simple honeypot with human error can jeopardize everyone. I don't know if it's back up or there are alternatives, but that black market Silk Road was shut down because of human error, and the last thing I heard about it that it used crypto for transactions. If governments around the world make competing crypto illegal, you all know they will make a public shaming show of anyone who gets caught using it.

I was promoting the fact that gold (as well as silver) has no counter party risk unlike crypto because you're dependent on technology, that will always leave some trail. You can argue that you'd only use it for anonymous online purchases but if they were REALLY amping up control there's no reason they wouldn't also tie in USPS in some regard to the system and any package that's attempted to be sent without a GOVCOIN code would be seized upon suspected contraband (grandma's cookies would be paid with GOVCOIN so would get a pass, to give an example).
In this scenario the only feasible way to get something would be a dead drop system which would limit you to semi local dealers of fine exotic gasoline only, but that'd be a hassle.

I thought about that and you're probably right. But I'm really unaccustomed...and a bit uneasy at the thought of seeing my account that low. I grew up dirt poor and it took me a long time to get what I have. It was emotionally hard to convert so much of that fiat into PM, but I knew it was the right thing to do. I've lost every bit of faith in government and bank. So I want wealth that I alone control. This is what I try to explain to my wife.

I started stacking in January. Originally planned to buy $250 in silver a month, talked it out with my wife, explained that she should think of it as an alternate form of savings. It’s 12 weeks since my first silver purchase and I’ve literally just crossed the $10k mark today. 3 oz gold, about 180 oz silver. I don’t know that it’ll be enough, but it’s a start. I wish I had more time. On the upside my wife sees what’s happening to the economy and the banks and thinks I’m some kind of prophet.

QT is quantitative tightening. Reducing the money supply by increasing rates. It’s the downward slope on the right side of the graph, representing the rate hikes and attempt at curtailing inflation. In the past week, the fed printed enough money to basically erase an entire year of QT, which will just restart the inflation and the banks are just as overextended and retarded as they were before. That can be seen at the far right end of the graph, sharp uptick.

It's seems to depict
>crowned eagle on left side and a key on right side
>the letters "FB" with a crown on top and a star/inverted pentagram below

My guess is it could maybe be 18 or 19th c. german silverware with the eagle being a city mark, but i couldn't match any city i could find. On one of the fork there is what i believe to be the zigzag typical of old german silver testing essays. But it's almost completely gone and don't even show up on pics.
The tableware in question is heavy uniplat style, typical of mid-18th c. silverware.

That's a modern reproduction, it is "pressed" like a struck coin which ancient rings never were, looks like the band was soldered on and the general shape is unlike any genuine ancient ring i've ever seen. Ancient rings are faked even more than coins, I have 1 Roman silver ring inscribed "Vot Mercu" (Votum Mercurius, or a vow to Mercury) and it looks legit to my eye but with so many fakes floating around it's hard to be sure.

If you're *that* paranoid about it then just start hunting rolls of half-dollars for silver. You can order a $500 box of half-dollars for just a couple bucks over face value and it will usually yield 5 or ten 90% franklins. Then you re-roll all the coins, take them back to the bank, and repeat. Coin collectors do it all the time. when silver was below 21 dollars was an opportune time desu
now you have to be a bit more careful as the market is in a particular volatile state
trying to focus on very low premiums would be good for now, at least till silver dips then some higher premium stuff could become an option again
if silver jumps to 25 or higher, do not panic buy, you just have to hold till the markets stabilize and plunge, then when silver gets below 20 dollars again, that would be another opportune time to buy in bulk
Of course take your own financial situation into much consideration and try and look out for the best deals

I agree, in times of hyperinflation, precious metals like silver tend to hold their value better than fiat currencies. It's always a good idea to diversify one's portfolio and consider investing in physical silver or silver-backed assets as a hedge against inflation.

Without open source disclosure the free market will halt. People will have to rely on bitcoin to trade goods. Fiat will be dead from the pressure to use CBDC.

I don't see how governments survive this. Whether you believe in a conspiracy or not we are just children relying on a financial culture we don't understand. Bitcoin offers freedom from manipulation. CBDC is the same song and dance.

It’s my understanding that in this situation, either is accepted by most people. Might just be easier to say “gold” than to say “precious metals/gold and silver.

Gold is worthless, it has no monetary or industrial applications. Central banks just cling to it out of tradition, the future is CBDCs mainly digital USD which will continue to be the world's reserve currency. Goldbugs are wrong once again regarding the demise of mighty King Dollar. Asteroid mining will crash the price of gold this year.

There is no better option in the US for intermediate caliber rifles, or really rifles in general. Everyone should have one.

Get at least one rifle in .308 and maybe one in 7.62x39 if you’re concerned about shtf. The calibers are extremely common so you can have something that uses them if you get ahold of some.

I have it to circumvent rifle hunting bans in my town (lever action pistol calibers are exempt). It's not a practical gun, so make sure you do have a practical rifle and handgun before you start dabbling in fun guns like levers.
