The point of business is to buy low sell high, invest to make more money. So you buy GME stocks cheap, then you boost them (there were actually 2 peaks so you had 2 opportunities) and then when you see it won't climb any further, you sell them.
GME itself has no more value than those 15 or 5 dollars or whatever, because the company itself is a failure. The only value it had was kept by short sellers who fucked up with their bets, but those could slowly buy stocks over and over and liquidate their debt. This means that obviously the price will drop.
And "i like the stock" idiots who have no idea how business works think they got cheated on or are still in denial, when everything have been done fair and square.
I am still laughing at those reddit posts where they were assmad at everyone who sold the stock when it was high, like a reasonable person would.
