Having driven many cars, I prefer the feel of the road as opposed to comfortable electronic suspension - as should anyone who is based, which is why this rare mg zr would be my pick. I already have a lesser variant, which is wonderful to drive, however the only upgrade I can think of that would work is a 90s era tomcat engine, which aren't easily acquired. However with enough money and time this wouldn't be an issue. Hence why its my make it car. Being completely honest it would probably spend its life locked away while I'm sailing, but you did ask.

I would get a brand new Toyota Prius, whichever trim has the most cargo space. You can actually live in them. They have a feature where climate control can be maintained via battery. When they get low the engine kicks on and recharges the batteries enough and turns off again. Overnight this process uses 1-2 gallons of gasoline. I'm a claustrophile so this arrangement appeals to me. Just get in, drive around the country, be toasty warm or nice and cool depending on the weather. Make sure I got a 9mm for protection and black cutouts for the windows for privacy. Use truck stops for showers and get the occasional hotel. Shit, I could do this now if I wanted to but I have a family and eventually money would run out. I just like the idea of having my own climate controlled tent with wheels that allows me to camp anywhere.

Depends on the package. A non bulletproof model starts in the 300k USD range and can go as high as a Million for all the bells and whistles. Tom Brady sold his not too long ago and I believe Sylvester Stallone is selling his. This was Tom Brady's. His fetched 300k used but it went for that because he was the prior owner.
