To answer my own question from the previous thread full of useless retards about the actual uses of silver and if it can be easily replaced in any applications.

The answer is yes it can be replaced, but not at a similar price point or without making assemblies larger. Gold being the seemingly next best candidate or by simply making electrical contacts larger and using copper. SO no industry will be brought to it's knees by a lack of silver as far as I can tell. It would be an inconvenience or raise prices of electronics.

On the production side there is no reason I see to be concerned about silver running out in the near term. Many mines have been shuttered due to low metals pricing in the 2013-2016 price collapse which could undoubtedly be brought online in fairly short order if prices were favourable.

This is academic anyways as the price of silver is distorted by creation of paper silver, at a current reported ratio of 250:1.

Good morning friends and sirs, longtime /pmg/ poster here, I've created a few memes and infographics over the years such as the roman wages chart and fallout stack tier list.

Today I want to make something a little different, a compilation of answers to a short survey I've made. First of all, to assuage justifiable concerns that I'm a glowie, picrel is a small part of my stack including my /pmg/ bogcoin and liberty dollars.

Basically I'm immensely curious about the attitudes of societies just before major upheavals, whether it's Rome or Weimar Germany or the USSR. I want to make something that serves as a historical time capsule for the attitudes of """normal""" people in the modern day in anticipation of... whatever it is that's coming. while i love a good meme response, I'm more interested in serious replies for this.

> Do you believe society to be close to a historically decisive event? If so, how close? (Be as vague or specific as you wish)

> Which form do you believe an upcoming decisive event will take? List as many as applicable:
> A- Major civil unrest
> B- Currency collapse / economic crisis
> C- Military defeat
> D- Famine
> E- Authoritarian dictatorship
> F- Other (specify)

> Do you believe this event could be avoided? If so, how?

> Which institution / practice do you believe is most responsible for the current tension and / or upcoming crisis?

> If you were able, which single change would you make in the past 50 year period to improve the current situation?

> On a scale of 1 through 10, how confident are you that precious metals will secure you financially following this event?

> What other preparatory measure do you favor for the future, besides precious metal investments?

> How optimistic are you about the general well-being of society (socially, financially, etc) on a scale of 1 through 10?

> Please share any related miscellaneous thoughts you have, if you'd like.

Meanwhile, 4 million “undocumented workers” per year are flooding into markets that both sides of the political aisle actively benefit from. The liberal cities love illegals because that means massive public spending on welfare and conservative countrysides love illegals because that means cheap farm and factory labor.

This generation isn’t lazy because they don’t want to pick fruit or mow lawns. This generation couldn’t survive on the disgustingly small wages paid to such jobs that have been designed to exclusively use an illegal labor force.

Yep, the best LCS in my hometown which my dad frequents once or twice a week has a legendary scrap bin. The proprietor is an autist who used to work for PCGS and is exceptionally picky so any constitutional with too much wear, tarnish, cleaning or edge dings gets culled and sold by weight for exactly melt value. Dad bought these for $18 per troy ounce on Thursday, most of it would be considered perfectly acceptable constitutional and be sold at normal premium elsewhere but the based autist owner there is an inadvertent friend of cheapie hunters seeking 0% premium silver. Buying the cut up walker pieces was silly but no one is perfect. Happy hunting lads.

It does, that table is ohm meters and silver is slightly lower. The key is it is only slightly lower, if all the silver disappeared tomorrow copper could replace it with minimal fuss. The world will not collapse if the price goes up, that's a fairy tale for retards.

The true problem with it as an investment imo is paper silver. It's no different than fiat if it can be printed. Where the price goes it entirely up to those doing the printing. Unless you can read their minds you may as well go to the casino because any speculation in the future utility of silver is irrelevant when there are 250 oz of paper silver per real oz.

Slightly lower may not mean anything to someone not familiar with the field, but when you are talking about micro electronics, super conductors, xmtrs, or medium and high voltages of 2300 and up it makes a big difference. Lower conductivity means less efficient and that leads to more heat leading to more regular and catastrophic failure, causing more downtime, more replacement parts or overhauls due to damage, complete redesigns to try and handle excess heat, etc but you would know that if you did more than a couple google searches on the subject and thought more than two steps down the logic chain. I don't write the programming for Foxboro transmitters, but I know I need a hart communicator to set one up. I have well over a decade in the electrical and electronics field, I do know what I am talking about, all you have done is further show how little you know about the subject, which is fine by the way. If it's not you job I wouldn't expect anyone to know much about it, but completely ignoring what I'm telling you and doing zero research yourself only hurts you. So you can continue being intentionally ignorant and only hurt yourself, or you can better yourself. Whatever you decide to won't affect me, so good luck either way.

There is a silver LotR note. $50 for 3 grams. Yikes!

Smart to see the coin in person first. Bring a magnifying glass.

Sup /PMG/?
I have been stacking for a few years now but recently I have been getting into the idea of getting Third Reich coins to my collection, but frankly I don't know much about them, I know they made some coins in cheaper metal like aluminum but what is a good resource to learn about the silver coins they made?

I’ve been busy as well. Cleaned house for relatives to come tomorrow, busted open some inventory for my store that I need to get in there this week, precious metals wise got some quarter proof sets for $27 a pop, and still day 7 waiting for my bars from APmex to ship, that e check stuff takes forever.

Really excellent. Been collecting about 11 lbs of sterling to refine on the PM front. Had to remediate about 700 sq ft of soil to expand my farm/garden. Cleaning out an area to get a new backyard flock goin'. Plannin' on pickin' up a dozen or so layer hens. Ain't even gonna lie. This inglation is puttin' me in a hard position to put my plan in order. To be further honest, been seriously stressed, and crutchin' it with benzos. I'm doin' both good and bad.

Got lightning and bugs singing out my shitbox window right now and I’m comfy. Hope all my /pmg/ frens are snug with their stacks. If all goes well I should have a 200A breaker and a mini split by next week after 4 months of freezing my ass off using a wood stove in a completely in insulated house with cracked single pane windows. Temperature control and electric means baby chickens by April!

WAGMI.

Is $600 the cap for a gilded Yotsucoin? It's the only one I see on ebay that sold but ebay hides older auctions and shit now. I assume someone has tracked all these sales since they were made?

Normal Sovereign = 22mm
Double Sovereign = 28mm

If the diameter is bigger than that you've got a quintuple.
