To all the degenerate troons and doll posting child groomers. Pmg is about precious metals. Not your faggot lifestyle. But you can't help but try and conflate the two because you believe people might better accept your degenerate life if you share an interest in something pure. Like 4 9's fine.
It doesn't work like that. Try for a single thread. Just ONE fucking time, to post about precious metals without dragging your mental illness into it.

>> No.54014764

Gold krug came in and while it was in a sealed bubble envelope that was sealed inside a taped box the coin flip and the plastic baggy were torn so that the coin was just rattling around in the padded envelope. The serial number on the slip matched with my invoice and I obviously got a golden krug, I’ve never seen that happen before with Pinehurst Coins.

Can’t believe someone would rough handle my delicious 22k like that but that’s the only way I can see it ripping; someone shoving it into the envelope during packaging.

Cast bars are way more desired than minted bars imo, cast has the artisan handmade look (even if it isn't most of the time) and minted bars have a very sterilized look that is a bit boring (unless they somehow make it sexy like asahi 10oz.) Cast bars generally carry a premium over minted bars, and minted bars are more likely to be of a generic brand

The only gold Im buying is fractional. Either quarter or half ounce American Gold eagles or Gold maples. If I buy 1/10 ounce it will be Brittanias for the lower premium. Gold eagles are the most recognized and best return on investment. I see no reason to stack anything else. We are witnessing banks failing and Half of the world de-dollarizing and going to a Gold backed BRICS system. Trust me the dollar will fail. Gold and commodities will be what is worth owning. Silver is good if you are starting out. But I am seriously thinking about exchanging all silver for gold next year at some point. It takes up too much space compared to gold and does not appreciate in price. Silver has its uses but Gold will be king when currency crisis happens.

>> No.54016489

I respect the distrust of fiat but in the event of a serious collapse of the dollar I think gold and silver will be hand in hand on the rise up. Won’t tell you how to handle your money but while I’m slowing my silver stacking to an almost nonexistent level I’m never selling my precious Ag. With that said, I think I’m going to change my two merc tubes a month to 1/10th fractionals just because gold is gold no matter how small.

That won't change but I will be focusing on gold far more now when extra money is available. This bank failure is a wake up call. Your money is not safe. It is IOY notes and numbers on a screen. It doesn't exist. Gold is the only real money.

Hey everybody, huge faggot here. I'm going to argue with all of you. Over what exactly? I'm not sure yet. My plan is to find some trivial wedge issue, like dollposting or numismatics, and just harp on it endlessly for 30+ posts. I'll never actually contribute any worthwhile observations, I'm just going to insult people and fling shit. If any of you point out a flaw in my logic, I will completely sidestep whatever you're saying and instead make a wild logical leap about your lifestyle and attack a hypothetical, baseless characterization of you which I invented. I will never post a picture of my PMs or actually say anything new or insightful. How long will I be here? Who knows, I have a looong list of dicks to suck later so I am incredibly busy. Fuck metal market for a decade. One year in prison kek. Not sure it's ever going to stop at this rate.
https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/former-wall-street-precious-metal-traders-sentenced-wire-fraud
Two former Wall Street traders were each sentenced today to one year and one day in prison for engaging in a multi-year fraud scheme to manipulate U.S. commodities markets for publicly traded precious metals futures contracts.

According to court documents, Edward Bases, 61, of New Canaan, Connecticut, a former senior trader employed at Deutsche Bank and Bank of America in New York, and John Pacilio, 59, of New York, a former senior trader employed at Bank of America and Morgan Stanley in New York, fraudulently pushed market prices up or down by placing large “spoof” orders in the precious metals futures markets that they did not intend to fill. Bases and Pacilio did so to manipulate prices for their own gain and the banks’ gain, and to defraud other traders on the Commodity Exchange Inc. and the New York Mercantile Exchange Inc., both of which are exchanges run by the CME Group Inc.

Crisis averted!
The plastic plate I used for drying my flakes was hiding behind my sage plant (which, btw. seems to have survived the winter nicely, already nice, aromatic leaves), but of course all the gold was gone.
So I figured if that piece of plastic hasn't gotten blown far, the much heavier and smaller gold should still be close. So I mopped up my whole balcony.
Should have done that anyways, holy shit!

However, finish panning those "concentrates" was a very weird experience. Lots of stuff floating on top and most other stuff also so light that all techniques didn't really work, since it all was just floating back and forth with any movement. So I essentially panned out most lights over the toilet and diluted it all so much that I could fish out my gold with a pipette at the end.
And this is a stack pic! There's some gold visible in the shot.

What happened to them is happening to all banks. The assets on their balance sheets are dropping as interest rates rise.

If a bank holds $150k mortgage paying 3.5% and now mortgage rates are 7%, no one is going to pay you $150k for that lower rate mortgage. No problem if you hold for 30 years to maturity, but if you need liquidity and want to sell you are getting a lot less money than you currently have it valued on your books.

>It just occurred to me, this is probably a slow controlled demolition.
Absolutely. You can't Build Back Better until you demolish what's already there. The world's reserve currency rarely lasts more than 100 years. As one empire falls to debt, another empire rises. The similarities in history are uncanny. There are stages that each empire goes through, and the US is in decline. This has happened time after time to each of the world's reserve currencies. The USD is no different.

Vid related is very good and explains things in pretty simple terms. Worth the watch @ a little over 43 minutes long.

Kek. I only ever keep about $200 in my account to cover Spotify and gym membership fees. When I make a large deposit it's only so I can make a PM purchase via ACH. I have another $3000 in a regular bank account that is just for emergencies like car repairs. Other than that, I'm my own bank.

So with the bank collapse today, some commentary I was listening to mentioned that money is starting to move down Exeter's pyramid. That is, moving from mbs and cmbs to treasury bonds. I assume they are selling equities to do this. What is the possibility that some money is moving all the way down to gold? This seems bullish for gold to me.

I realize JPMorgan manipulates the silver market. It should also be noted that they took quite a hit from the silicon Valley Bank collapse. I don't know if they are manipulating the gold market too to suppress it. I guess just random thoughts for the night.

The silver market needs to break FIRST for gold to go up tremendously.
If gold goes up without silver and does a 4x for example then everyone who stacked at gold:silver 1:100 multiply their physical silver stack by 5x and that demand cannot be handled at all so silver comes up too.

It's not as simple as that, when the insurance company does their investigation it can take weeks to months before they are satisfied that whatever started the fire wasn't intentional, the whole time they are investigating you aren't allowed to dig or even touch anything including your safe since you could be tampering with the scene and void the whole payout, so your safe full of melted silver and gold could be sitting there in the open for weeks for any one to come by and snag.

Never looked into house fire temps before so that is good to know, but your safe being stuck on the ground in the open I have seen first hand from when my buddy's house burned down a couple years ago, he didn't stack metals but he did stack guns and they got absolutely ruined with water damage from the safe being in the elements for 2+ months before they wrapped up the investigation and let him go through the rubble. If they would have let him stand the safe up water may have not gotten in but they wouldn't even let him do that.

That's not an explanation. It's ironically what someone who doesn't know what he's talking about would say.

Go on. Explain how an increase in gold makes silver more valuable. Explain how you can be certain there isn't a lot of this shit hoarded to keep it over valued.

I'm not saying that this is the case, but I'm at least expressing concepts beyond baseless and unsupported assertions of the ignorance of a person I disagree with.

Even kikes try harder. This ain't even pilpul. It's just pul. As in pul-leeeze explain this shit to me in a way that makes sense.

They don't. I suspect they just participate so that the private mint who actually makes these coins can sell them as coins and not rounds.
I'm super tempted to get some even though I really don't want anymore silver. I don't think it's going up. I think we have silver backwards and that the elite are using it to bleed our wealth instead of the other way around.
I'm just pissed because I bought during the squeeze and I'm down quite a bit on it. I genuinely hope I'm wrong.

Historically, the gold:silver rarity ratio was reflected in their price ratio.
Every time the ratio deviated in one way you could profit from playing this price ratio.
If the gold:silver price ratio is 80:1 (which is different than the normal 15:1) then you would sell your one ounce of gold to acquire 80 ounces of silver. If enough people do that there isn't enough silver to give 80 ounces for every ounce of gold if there are only 15 ounces of silver existing for every ounce of gold. When the supply cannot be provided at a low price then the price must go up, so you'll be able to get only 70 then 60 then 50 and so on until 15 ounces of silver for your ounce of gold and the equilibrium is restored.

Yep and they got turned into chunks of rusted metal and rotten wood because some insurance fuck wouldn't let him move the safe to his shop 30 feet away or even stand it up so it wouldn't be laying on its back collecting rain water in the door seal. It was an honest to God tragedy. The icing on the cake was the guns had zero fire damage, the safe took the heat like a champ even the new guns with poly parts didn't show any fire damage it was all water damage from sitting outside during the rainy season.

Where do you live? In the US you can order a firearm and have it shipped to a FFL (licenced dealer) middleman and pick it up for a small fee. I can do this in my ultra blue libtard state of Massachusetts. Can have ammo delivered right to my door.
