Well the forthcoming bill that doles out that raise only uses round 90 million of it. (6% raise). So that leaves 70 million of money already allocated for more pay hikes in 2024. Again the money to do it is already set aside. Also next year is another budget year. They've already said revenue will be higher than projected. My take; they'll use that 70m, toss a bit more in from the revenue coming in and give another 8% raise as they did in 2022. If not, oh well, another 6% is not bad either.
