society is changing at an exponential rate, technology and AI is only accelerating the rate of change
many industries will become obsolete in the next 20 years
many new industries will emerge in the next 20 years
the ability to cross-reference, synthesize, make analogies - and make decisions
polymaths focus on the big-picture, and take action from that basis
the digital age and abundance of information allows one to easily pursue the polymath path
yet, polymaths are becoming less and less common in today's world, where most people try to specialize a field

what fields, would you consider the most important to look into?
if you consider yourself a polymath, how are you pursuing this path?

I thought polymath was an actual field of mathematics. Or at least knowing multiple fields of mathematics for application in whatever. Didn't realize it's used as a jack of all (or just 3) trades or rennaissance man
