Say what you want about modern trends, at least houses today are open and spacious. In the 90s it was all white with cheap gaudy brass accents that all look terrible now. Then in the 2000s everything was earth tones and beige. The move to grey was a reaction to that. If you don't like grey just give it a few more years. Genuinely a bad thing. I see so many listings with huge open rooms trying to make the house feel bigger than it is. Walls and privacy are a good thing. Spacious is only good for the realtors listing the place because it means they can scan less interior photos.

Thanks. Do you know why the White man went with white walls? Because light reflects off of it better and illuminates the room. These grey wall assholes have to deal with more shadows. Go in a white wall home get a cereal box turn your back to the lighting and try to read the label. You'll be able to read it fine because lighting is difused through out the entire house. It emanates from the light source bounces off of the walls floors and even ceiling. Now go into a steel grey house turn your back to the light and try to read a label. You'll cast a harsher shadow and it'll be harder to read. Some fancy grey houses over compensate by installing a bunch of lighting fixtures increasing the prices of electricity for the home.

My girlfriend’s dad is a banking exec, I told him I’m all in on crypto. He and I met yesterday. He is a kind and mild mannered guy who comes off as deeply intelligent. I gave an impassioned speech about why cryptocurrency is changing the world and democratizing resources that traditionally only the wealthy had access to. It is giving poor communities a fighting chance and that it is revolutionary and something that is a big part of my investment strategy. I don’t know what the point of this post is, but I just, idk, he made me feel like a fool of an investor because he either just doesn’t get it or is scared of it and I feel like his view of me has become less favorable in terms of dating his daughter, but I’m going to stand up for what I believe in.
