You can only "make it" off of crypto if the other 99% of people lose money.

Funny how here everyone thinks they are in the top 1%

It's not a zero sum game idiot. New dumb money flows in endlessly. You have no idea how much more crypto has to grow. It's going to replace payment apps in the next decade: watch.

>You can only "make it" off of crypto if the other 99% of people lose money.
But enough talks about the leverage debt-based economy propelled by a focus on finance, instead of goods.
The top 1% used to be on /biz/, now they're on Twitter and telegram. If you want to make it you have to immerse yourself in environments full of competent and/or lucky people.
Staying here when half the threads are demoralization messages or retards with no grasp on how things work will 100% be detrimental to your financial performance.

Bitcoin is not a zero sum game indeed. Money pushes up the value it goes from one hand to another hand in the market constantly driving price up. and then there is fractional reserve money and mega money printing that can never stop so more money will always flow into the system. stacking satoshis is not a zero sum game. I already cashed out one time in 2018 near the top and guess what? I would have been better off if I held cause a few years later I had to buy back in higher, as there was no better asset/thing to put my worthless euros into.

It's literally a zero sum until bull markets and then becomes zero sum again. It's a ponzi just like every other asset in existence. There's always losers in every trade. At best there are times where "most wallets are in profit", but that's a lie because there isn't sufficient liquidity present for everyone. It's the nature of the game.

While it is true that it is currently difficult to make money in the market, this is because we are in a great recession that affected the vast majority of the population and the world powers. As cryptos were just entering their mass adoption phase, they took an even bigger hit and that translates to everything, NFTs, Gamefi, Move2earn, all the places that have to do with cryptocurrencies are in a bear market. And yet multi-billion dollar companies like META keep splurging billions because they know that while it is a loss now, cryptos ARE the future, don't you think it is one of the companies that made the most money for a reason?
That is the reason why everyone makes a point that right now you should accumulate, I recently started adding to my portfolio some NFTS because it is clear that the currents are going to be good with those who are holders of multiple collections, it is a matter of watching clearly how the market unfolds. For anyone interested there is a new wave of nfts going on sale (This one here is AI Universe, it is worth 0.2 eth each and there are 9k available out of a total of 10k). That is, NFTs generated by artificial intelligence, I'll be surprised if /biz doesn't fill up with shilleos of these in the next few weeks considering the explosion they are having.

what's more disturbing are the organized groups who spend months coming up with narratives and using their capital to make those narratives *seem* real so they can capture a bunch of cash from buyers they then dump on. this happens on an even grander scale in trad markets where there the market makers have control over messaging that reaches hundreds of millions of people instantly. telegram/twitter/discord crypto shilling is a microcosm of the same phenomenon

my biggest realization is that exit liquidity is largely based on memes
15x'ed on buttcorn, no problem with cashing out because the hodl/laser eyes meme had entered the mainstream
took a small portion of that, threw it at a coin that checked all the boxes i was looking for, did a 5x within a week
figured i was a genius, went to take profits and halve my position, 8 figure market cap, my 5 figure sell order tanked the price by 17%
by the time i sold the other half, that half was at a loss
i took me a while to figure out what happened
it was a volume issue, directly related to a lack of quality memes
