An old infographic I found. 2017 was nothing, the marketcap will be $2tn min come this time next year.

Institutional money has trodden lightly so far.
2017 Smart movers, traders, hedge funds. Last couple of months seen more normies come in.

2018 will see a 'gold rush', we have just come to the end of a psychological wave. The market will spring naturally in January. Improvements in accessibility will see more people rush to buy Buying crypto will be as easy as using ebay. Projects and Dapps will start to infiltrate daily life. MSM will latch onto the benefits of crypto in the second half of the year, after remaining bearish during the rise.

2018 will see great heights, but there will be underlying confusion about the drive in price. Adoption yes, but the tech? Bitcoin will be debated, is is a payment system, is it a store of value, should it be a store of value, whats the future? I think that bitcoin will be driven upward be the talk and speculation, but Ethereum. That will be the real driving factor behind the market. New fiat pairs will ensure less reliance on Btc and some of these platform coins, Neo, Ark etc. will see a great rise.

Blockchain interoperability will be improved upon massively.

Smarbridges - Created and used by Ark. Allows use and exhange of any coin or token, and contract interaction deployment etc. Pretty revolutionary. A couple of other tokens / coins have followed suit, Aion being one. Copycat Erc20 token (tech wise) with different aims to Ark.

Atomic swaps - Used by many coins, typically requires same cryptographic hash function and lightening network

Loopring protocol - Nep5 tokens exchanged and used in Eth contracts. Loopring Coin.

These advancements will allow greater use of currencies, it will allow Doge owners to spend their hard earned sheckles on Etheremon, no messing with exchanging. It will provide legitimacy to these currencies.

A coin to watch, Iconomi, takes 78% of top 100 coins and puts them in a fund. Allows users to own all coins in essence.

I use this infographic to highlight that despite the tech behind the coins, all have seen and followed the same rise, and will continue to do so.
