He was a straight-A student thru jr.high and high school and got several scholarships to attend Lawrence Tech college here in metro Detroit but after his first semester, he had failed all his classes as he had barely attended any of them (via Zoom, as the covid was going around then).

He dropped out and said he was suffering from "anxiety" and had "suicidal thoughts" and mom ate it up and lets him sit on his ass doing nothing. Dad insisted he get a job but as the kid don't drive (many his age don't, which I just don't understand?) this was difficult but eventually dad found him a easy gig down the street at a label making joint but he got shitcanned after just three weeks.

Dunno WTF he's going to do, as mom is 60 and his dad is 55 and they ain't going to be around forever to carry him. I've quit asking them what the plan was, as mom just regurgitates the psychiatrist's party line and dad is so pissed he has given up.
