My stacking strategy for the last few years has been to play the GSR, and swap when it gets closer to historic normal. Though recently I've been second guessing it. Seeing how rampant and effect the suppression of silver is, its seeming increasing likely that the only way we can see silver price discovery is if there is a gold revaluation, or PM backed CBDC from BRICS. In any scenario where that happens, gold will rocket way higher and sooner than silver. Silver has been suppressed for the last 140 years, without a complete re-evaluation of our economic system, It's hard to see silver price discovery before we run out in 15+ years. What are your thoughts anons

Everyone worth listening to in the pms space (Maloney, Morgan, etc) has been consistent in their assertion that silver is more volatile than gold and will have bigger price moves when they occur - but note that this will necessarily mean bigger moves to the downside as well.
Also the GSR is still stupidly high so Maloney basically only stacks silver atm. I could see a case for swapping S for G when GSR gets to around 40 or lower (which is what an actual long term trend would be for the 20thC, picrel) but at the moment having gold is only worthwhile as a diversifier.

When investing in PMs, there are some things you should never forget.

First, never forget that the banksters are dicking around with the price. See picrel.

Second, never forget that silver price manipulation is being done with *paper* silver. As >>53806401 said, every economic factor suggests that silver should be rising in price, including the COMEX vault being emptied. Physical silver is not conducive to the price manipulation and suppression we're seeing.

Third, never forget we're in this for the long term. To paraphrase one infamous Redditor: we can afford to buy and hold PMs longer than you can afford to manipulate their price, Rabbi.

I guess what I'm trying to say is: we WILL own land. We WILL have wives. We WILL eat ze meat. We WILL own everything. And we WILL be happy.

Literally just get married and apply for an FHA loan with your combined salaries. (your girl works, doesn't she?)

nobody here can do this. If they could, they wouldn't need pm's, and ironically they'd be able to afford millions of dollars in pms if they wanted them.

My father recently passed and he left me some coins he had. I don’t think they are worth much but can anyone give me a guess. I was going to take them to a coin shop but I thought about it and I don’t think I’m gonna sell them. He left me very little and even if they are worth a lot it’s nice to have something he cared about.

That coin survived an era in America where the peasantry was (((forbidden))) to own gold by the President himself. >Where can I go in a small Midwest town to find some real treasure?

The original town (or neighborhood if it's a big town) rubbish dump. Every town had at least 1 designated dumping grounds, usually along the banks of a river/stream, ravine, or low lying wetlands unsuitable for building or farming, and frequently dumps were in or adjacent to the old town cemetery. Often it's on city-owned public land so access isn't a problem. Antique bottle, stoneware and marble collectors are about as crazy as token collectors, I've dug several pieces worth 4-figures and many worth over $100, and have eyeballed over a kilo of sterling silver and some coins plus some karat gold that was thrown out and dumped with the trash. Unless you find the original 1800s town picnic grounds or horse race track and it magically hasn't been filled with junk, built over or hit by generations of detectorists over the past 60 years then getting into the old bottle dump will yield far better treasure. You may have to dig deep, I regularly sink 8+ feet deep holes to get to the oldest and best stuff, but it's not hard for any man worth half his salt. I usually dig alone but made a new digging friend recently and we sank this hole at the end of December, on the 2nd day the high was -4F but when you're below the frost line it's comfy like an igloo down in the pit. We found 2.5oz of hallmarked sterling (a teaspoon, butter spreader, and guilloche makeup compact) and 2 very rare hand-blown embossed local bottles this dig.

Thank you for responding with the interesting tips. My town was founded 1880s. I question whether the law dogs would mind me digging holes around the town creek. mightily populated area along the creek. I bought an old town history book at the local thrift, I think I ought to get “digging”. Any advice on avoiding the authorities or any of the legal matters involving in town treasure hunting. Eight foot hole is quite a bit! The lowest I’ve down is about 4ft. My detector goes to 6.

Do yourself a favor, get a coin book or find a coin shop and read up on their history. I see two Morgans, some barber coins, a loose steel penny, a lovely pre-33 eagle, and a set of the classics.
If you don't want to sell them, take them to a shop anyway and ask about the history of them, assuming they aren't too busy. Then buy a Peace dollar to add to the collection yourself.

I'm not Based Bob, I think he's asleep now. I've had the cops called on me a fair number of times but never got any tickets and only once was ran out, as I was trying to sneak a dig in the property of a city park where such digging is prohibited. The rest of the time they were just making sure I wasn't poaching, burying bodies or setting up a meth lab and told me to fill in the holes when I was done then left me alone. The situation would likely be different if they caught you sneaking into a fenced off construction site but when I see good stuff in the dirt piles fear of the law has never stopped me. Pan Man's suggestions are good too so keep it all in mind and good luck expanding your treasure hunting horizons.

Hey PAN MAN, I picked up this antique paperweight ingot at an antique shop recently I think you'd appreciate, I did some research and apparently there was an experimental sponge iron pilot plant set up by the US Bureau of Mines in Laramie Wyoming in the 1940s, it seems they first started producing in 1944 and the project went on for a few years after that, they only made a few hundred tons, mostly to test different techniques and fuel blends that would work for commercial-scale production. I assume it was cast from the earliest successful batch of sponge iron, I haven't found another like it searching around online so it's reasonable to assume it's a rare piece of mining history. The embossing is great, I love stuff like this.

/diy/er here,

I need to buy pure non-junk silver for doing large scale electroplating. Would also be a great excuse for me to stack some silver at the same time. What is the best way to get silver rounds as close to spot price as possible? I have always heard that in person dealers give better prices that what is often seen online, but the local silver dealer has things for an approx 8 dollar markup. Any advice?

The permits for road access / building were ages ago and are processed. Most permit writing is simply explaining to the government what i plan to do and them signing off on it without issue, covid slowed everything down though.

Damn thats sick, its not to different than what the guy who owns the mining store out here said. He possessed 2-3 table spoons of black sand that would normaly go into pavement and pulled like .5 of a gram in super fines and dust after washing it with acid then baking it off and slowly panning it out. Told the construction guys they are paving AZ streets in gold lol. I've saved most of my black sand to try this lol.

thanks, the backs have a mirror finish on them and thankfully don't have any thick stains, isopropyl seems to clean them very nicely (picrel). For the stains on the front i'll probably have to use something stronger like >>53814599 (checked)

thanks, I've looked them up, the series is 'The 100 Greatest Masterpieces' minted by The Franklin Mint, based on markings they were minted from 1974 to 1982 for the french market. It's a nice change of pace from buying the same Britannias over and over again.

in the same vein as this, have a look at this old doc on how gold / silver was mined back in the 30s! Old school mining is so much more difficult than modern mechanized work.

The loggers will have to do it eventually, they got the same news I did. Logging trucks cant ford the creek either without permission, so a bridge will probably get installed at some point.

Fuck working in a roman era mine was near the worst job in the roman world. There were stories of roman generals keeping their captives to be used elsewhere, as they thought letting them get sold into mine labor was to horrible a job. Amazingly, roman surface mining developed the first hydraulic mining methods, which worked wonders for their placer mining industry!

It never responded, my challenge crashed it

I then went on to challenge it on whether jews were behind social turmoil in Weimar Germany, leading to Hitler and while it started off with a strong denial, it devolved into apologizing for it's limited knowledge but insisting anyways that jews as a whole aren't responsible

Ask GPT "Qui" is behind (((OpenAI))), you'll get a Schindler list. I dug around those names, and it turns out most where collaborating with the Tel Aviv's tech university.
The only goy in the list was Musk, but it's likely his mother is a kikess, and he's from an illuminati bloodline.
It's clear the jews fear the A(ryan)I, so they are preemptively brainwashing it. Look at this report they recently made, saying internet should be censored by all means so the AI doesn't learn from "disinformation".

It's a clear sign we are winning. Why so many governments would feel the urge to raise taxes on silver all of a sudden the past 2 years otherwise? It's not for the earnings, as it's a nano-drop in an ocean of debt.

Just like with in 33 and the confiscation just before reevaluating gold, if they want to reevaluate silver, they need the minimum of goyim winning from it. If they can't confiscate this time around because of how low trust of our gov is, they can at least try to prevent us from buying any more via excessive and unjust taxing.

I personally wouldn't bother with paper gold and silver no. I use my ISA for regular stonks and I hold physical PMs. Guess you could get a stocks and shares ISA and add a few paper ones if you wanted, and hedge the rest with ETFs or something. Again not me though, prefer physical.
