BLUE LOCK

ultra competitive show that shows the reality of real life competition.

real life is PVP. Not everyone can be rich. Not everyone can win.

Kaiji season 1

The quintessential /biz/ anime, the manga is even better, gets pretty dark. The truth is Kaiji is pretty truth-pilled. It isn't about taking risks, it's about cheating smart. The cheaters always win. It really comes down to whose more clever and thinks about the bigger picture.

Lmfao based I thought spice and wolf was cute at 14 and the aesthetic was good
Now I'm into succubus bitches and the one is about to fuck my brains out, my economic theory has also advanced
The most bizarre thing was this kid who always played the spice and wolf theme on the piano in my dorm basement, I'd hear it randomly throughout the day

It's good but not as good. I won't spoil it but they drag some shit out way too long. Like, they could have cut a whole episodes worth of balls rolling around and people looking anxious. I will say that it's still very anxiety inducing and exciting because if you've seen season one you'll feel like anything can happen.

Whats the second one?

There's not many because japan leans towards socialist when it comes to lower classes, who make up the majority of "artists" and audience of manga/anime. I think it's a feedback loop personally. Lots of neets making feelbetter manga/anime for other neets with neet themes, ideals and characters.
It's japans version of the shitcoin factory imo. Filled with half-written elevator pitches turned into propoganda content past the second or third issue/episode.
On the other side of the proneet content, they are corporate love shills where your fellow office wagies are a substitute family for neets, boss is just old gramps and no HR in sight.
It's rare to find anything semi-serious that isn't completely devoid of political or financial spins or author/viewer inserts and fanservice. Usually they can only be found in his/sci/crime/psych manga and even then, less than you'd think likely due to the majority of authors' origins.
>tl;dr most manga is done by people similar to anons, and like anons only 1/100 is something beyond rebranded shit with added flavor for the OP credits

The best manga I've read is Usogui. It's about gambling, taking risks, mind games, action and so on.

One Outs + Kaiji.

Based. I stopped years ago because I caught up to the translations during that arc where it was like battleship or some shit? I think they were drawing mazes... I like the concept of the referees - basically, winning gambles on its own is meaningless if you don't have some physical force to enforce the rules at the end and ensure the payout.
I also recommend Gamble Fish, if you haven't read it yet. Not really superb but lots of ecchi fan service and the gambles are OK but slowly get worse and worse and retardely outlandish. Eventually you have Barack Obama engaging in a life or death duel at an underground gambling tournament lmao.
