I have $500k in crypto. How can I use this to retire right now?

Is this enough to quit my job and fuck around for a few years while building up streams of (crypto related) passive income?

main holding is GMX

>I have $500k in crypto.
buy as much AVAX as you can and then stake it, your 25500 AVAX would make you around $3000+ at current AVAX prices. is 3000 dollars a month for you to quit your job?

also AVAX is hardcapped and deflationary and the AVAX staking ratio is very high since there is a high demand for "Blockchain as a Service" and 1500+ Subnets are currently in the works.
running a validator is also really simple and a monkey could do it.
there is also no slashing and your coins never actually leave your wallet.
your keys your coins.

and if running a validator is too much of a hassle for you personally then you can just delegate your AVAX to based NEETnodes and tip them 2% of your reward.

I'm currently earning more than that with my GMX and MVX holdings, I think for me its a matter of diversification since I'm not nearly diversified enough with this portfolio value.

Holy shit how can you be so lucky and stupid? No offense. Put it all in blue chips (BTC, ETH). Slowly cash out between August and October of 2025. Should get you $3-4m. Save $1-1.5m for taxes. Put the rest in stocks ($SPY) and withdraw $80-90k/year for the rest of your existence.

Shiiiiet bro, take 10-30k and play 6-15% gains hopping from coin to coin. It’s fucking easy if you have the starting capital. Don’t leverage. Take modest gains, play top100 coins only. You’re welcome.

Unironically if I had that kind of money I would have cashed out, paid off all taxes and debts, and used the remaining amount to support me while I pursue the career I actually want to work in. I doubt $500k is enough to retire anymore, but it's more than enough to live off of for a few years while you figure out a better way to get an income. The best option is to invest in building up your own skillset so you can actually work in the job you want and live the lifestyle you want to live. All of this is my opinion and not financial advice, by the way.

Not sure how much GMX is returning to you, but I'm all about the passive income as well. I'm in Convex, pays bribes every two weeks.

If you buy $500k worth, you'll have approx 75,000 CVX. Last epoch, bribes were $0.062 per CVX, so you'd be earning approx $4,600 every 2 weeks.

But factor in the price appreciation. ATH was $60, so about 10x from where it is now, meaning you could be siiting on $5,000,000 worth of tokens. Plus bribes may appreciate, this time last year bribes were $0.32 per CVX.

So 75,000 x $0.32 = $24,000 every two weeks.

all the stats are here
