i hated computers / programming but have always been smarter than everyone in school with me (till i got to grad school at MIT)
but I got into programming with the pure intention of algo trading
it took me 2 years of learning in under grad
2 years of data science schooling (math and CS)
I was working on it as a personal project the whole time.
now its just my life desu.
I want to do it for a total of 10 ish years.
one of my largest motivators for me to get into it was to automated the faggots I met in a business class out of a job
