Riddle me this biz,

One the biggest issues with crypto is misdirected funds. If I send USDT on Solana to your ETH wallet we are both fucked. If I send USDT on Avax to your USDT on Eth wallet we are fucked.

Is there a coin that automatically rejects unsupported tokens AND misdirected funds?

Whichever blockchain solves this dilemma will be the choice of traditional financial institutions and see trillions in liquidity

Does it exist? Who is tackling this best?

I suggest a bank, anon. Over the last 400 years they seem to have figured this out, whilst you're "tokenomics" struggles. The weasel has been pinned.

My dad works at bitcoin headquarters and there they believe anyone dumb enough to send coins to the wrong network deserves to lose their money.

Its true but the difference between a 1 trillion dollar crypto market and a 20 trillion dollar market is grandma not even knowing she is using a blockchain and sending funds with her bank instantly via blockchain infrastructure

You aren't fucked. First, any non-retarded wallet will not send a transaction to an invalid address like trying to an eth address on solana. And second, if the addresses are the same, like EVM chains, if you have the keys on eth, you have the keys for the same address on any other EVM chain like avax or matic, you just might have to get some gas on the wallet. There is no scenario where someone has an address on eth and can't access the same address on another EVM chain.

You are the retard if you think some idiotic niche user error check to help "automation" is going to be the key to institutional adoption and bring on trillions in liquidity. Your whole premise is retarded, its like saying HURRR what if I send a wire transfer to my chuck e cheese account?? This is never an issue and already checked by wallets. Its only an issue if you do it for a CEX deposit address or something which has nothing to do with crypto, but is a retarded design choice by CEXs not to have the same address across networks.

I had a very rude paragraph typed up but I erased it.

Look here, look, listen: I am not talking about be your own bank. Im talking about legacy institutions who currently move the most money. How do we completely solve for human error. Now, if you cant contribute to this train of thought just leave

you can't. if send money in trade fi to the wrong person, its fucking gone unless the other bank plays ball in the case of a mistake. so if you're an institution, only send to addresses you know who uses them and can work it out with them if there is a mistake. Banks "accidentally" fund money laundering or sanctioned transactions in trad fi all the time and get fined millions, they might send an incorrect tx here and there too. That won't stop adoption.
