I did with the ones I bought on the way up at ~90 cents that I let go for 1.98 per, the ones I've bought since I'm still holding. Currently sitting on ~6k of them with an average cost basis of 28 cents per. I asked my uncle who literally work for NINTENDO and he said that short sellers are essentially committing securities fraud under the auspice that no one will ever hold to account the real number of shares available for trading. By direct registering over half of the free float, the shorts are in dire straights because the liabilities for shares they owe is greater than the actual available for purchase and a day of reckoning is coming where they will literally have to go to the lit market to buy back those liabilities. Because if it even comes down to them literally having ZERO shares available to provide to their customer base they will literally be begging with retail who knows enough about the situation to DRS their shares and will actually literally be demanding multi millions per share. So at some point they will need to ramp the price to close out their obligations for hundreds and thousands in the desperate hope they can entice enough people to sell that they can somehow survive.
This is a big problem for these guys because they were literally playing "fractional reserve lending" with the ownership of shares which have a definite, limited number/hard cap on quantity. This is the worst kind of bank run that can never be solved with some sort of bailout because we essentially have exposed a massive scam that permeates every single institution on Wallstreet, and corresponding regulatory bodies including the SEC, DTCC, Finra, OCC, all the way to the top of the federal government.
