Exactly, and because Powell is a confirmed bitch who will stop hiking at 5.25% we will now have stagflation. If you aren't long tech stocks right now you're simply going to lose money for the next few years, there will be no crash, there will be no quick return to 2% inflation.

For direction we can turn to the two-year Treasury yield, which has proven itself to be a highly reliable indicator of the federal funds rate. The reason is that it reflects the market’s expectations for the time-weighted average benchmark interest rate over the next two years. As a result, the yield tends to move before the federal funds rate, manifesting where the market thinks the Fed is going and what the economic outlook is. In turn, that tends to impact the rest of the bond market.

It's a political decision, subject to political factors and whims, not some iron law of the universe.

I mean the Fed historically only manipulated the front end of the curve. Then 2008 happened. Then they only ever did QE with treasuries and agency loans. Then 2020 happened and they were lending money to Apple.

Now you think this summer they'll quibble over a couple hikes vs some mostly-bullshit inflation number?

>the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecasts that the Henry Hub natural gas spot price will average $3.4/MMbtu in 2023

Did my DD brapbros. We should set our sell orders at $11.50 on BOIL, which seems to correspond to $3.5 on Henry Hub futures. This is after a significant downgrade, so it seems like a pretty sure thing.

Possible black swans I've considered:
>war in Ukraine ends
Sell immediately
>Russia chimps out harder
Congrats, BOIL will hit triple digits
>very cold weather comes late in the winter
BOIL might go to the twenties
>very cold weather does not come at all
Already the paradigm, won't change the price at all.
>US stock market crashes
???

This is the bottom for natural gas, unless the war ends suddenly or a sudden recession kills the whole energy sector (would be a big one).

Alright so out from the management meeting and the future looks fucking grim. Until end of december there was a recovery visibility in Q3 but now they just scrapped that, and gave up for the whole 2023. Planned lay off at the factory.
And I know our competitors are not better off.

“[T]he two-year yield crossing below the federal funds rate is a reliable signal of a coming change from tight to easy monetary policy,” Stonehouse said, noting that there’s still a wide gap between the two-year yield and the fed rate.

The two-year can also point toward the future direction of the rest of the bond market. Based on data mapping yields on the two-year and 10-year Treasuries going back to the 1980s, Stonehouse noted that the two frequently converge during market inflection points.

The yield on the two-year Treasury can also be used to forecast when and whether a recession may occur. Based on records going back to the ‘80s, he said peaks in the two-year yield typically occur 12 to 18 months before a recession.

>I just want a comfy position to hold.
i think holding by invest and forget is over. the nest decade will have volatility and the bull run from the last 10 years wont be continued.
You have to understand that first it was gold which was popular, then bonds then stocks. Now that the stocks are propped up by the FED. Nobody knows if without the FED, stocks can sustain such a rise we have seen since the GFC.

If you want to day trade, with 20k you have a comfy margin to trade futures. Check a cheap broker like optimus futures or ninjatrader. You can open 2 ES lots with your 20k and with that 1 point on ES = 100 dollars. That's the easiest money possible. The secret to trading is really to control greed and take partial profits and loses instead of waiting the last second to close a position.

Of course they can steal your money. They will get creative with the wording, they won't outright call it theft or stealing. They may call it a 'haircut', a ' bail-in', a 'one-time surcharge', etc. like what they did in Cyprus. There is also taxes and designed inflation, which work hand in hand to steal your money. They could put in a 'misinformation clause' like PayPal did, or do what Canada did during trucker protests and freeze and steal your money that way. Also, the laws are set up as well where you the account holder are a 'creditor' not the owner of those funds, so they can put you last on the list, which means you won't get paid back due to some legal kikery if shit goes down. Furthermore, at some point your money will be switched out with some type of Central Bank Digital Currency with an expiration date, so the credits will have an expiration feature where they get deleted if you don't spend it by a certain expiration date.

Anyways, how likely are these scenarios and when could they occur? Your guess is as good as mine.

The article has truth. The average American eats too much for breakfast, it's not healthy. You don't need eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal w/ milk, juice every morning. A big breakfast is something you have once in a while as a treat on the weekend or something, not an everyday thing. The average person would save a lot on cutting out their normal breakfast most mornings and just heating up a 25c pack of instant oatmeal with a 60c banana and a cup of coffee brewed at home.

It is going to crab between 2.1 and 2.8 for the next 10 years. Burgers scammed the Euros well with using the same contracts as the Russians have done for years, 10 year long term take-it-or-leave it, on the top of a bubble created by themselves instigating a proxy war with the until then biggest gas supplier Russia, and on top committing a terrorist attack on Europe making sure no gas is being delivered through the north.

Well we just relable it and pay about the same as the old russian contracts. Glad I am not in a NATO US colony. Our gas will be cheap again, while Germs pay the top of the generational bubble for a decade, lol
