Big things happening this year for HBAR!

HBAR is great but it is not as widely adopted outside of the crypto space. The tech is strong but it has not reached mainstream adoption like Ethereum or Bitcoin. HBAR still has a long way to go, but still a promising project for the future. The team has many partnerships with big tech. Maybe with all this momentum, HBAR will gain more exposure and adoption in the coming time.

Thanks? chat GPT
You're wrong on one point, neither BTC or ETH are being relied on for something on the scale HBAR is doing. Disingenuous to say they are more widely adopted.

Hedera is ridiculous. Even harvesting your rewards on Saucer Swap (so "revolutionary") takes about 1HBAR per pool, can't withdraw all of them in a single signature, rewards are also low. Algorand beats HBAR in every way, is way faster and its dApps are better built. Cometa beats SaucerSwap in every way, try it, it's also cheap right now. Lucky Token? You gotta be kidding me. That app runs like shit. Algorand Casino? Now we're talking. A proper roulette. Your token sucks and its all flash and lights. Go suck a dick you dirty peruvian nigger.

Largest running use case in terms of TPS: atma.io. Atma uses Hedera to track items along the supply chain starting from raw materials to end products. Along the supply chain the carbon footprint of each item is calculated and a carbon number is assigned to the item. The companies then buy carbon offsets using dApps like $dovu (also on Hedera).

Hedera is that painfully long term investment that turns huge 10 years later after all original holders have given up hope but were lucky to still be holding a suicide stack. Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, then Hedera. The tech is obviously superior to anything in crypto but it’ll take a decade to be valuable. $50 is unironically possible but so is having to hold 10-15 years

It's "decentralized" among its current nodes, which currently are exclusively the governing council members. While they're spread out globally, they are just the first phase of nodes, which people often FUD failing to acknowledge that Hedera's decentralization is a process. Mance has some great discussions on it in that it is a deliberate process necessary to securely roll out the network. Read the "Path to Decentralization" paper here https://hedera.com/network-nodes.. First is the GC members, as they are the most trusted and actively developing enterprise use cases, then comes permissioned nodes, then permissionless. I'll try and link some of Mance's interviews when I'm off work if this thread is still alive.
