It's kind of fun to revisit old memes to see how they are doing nowadays. Funnily enough, most of them doing very poorly.
I feel like I dodged a bullet by getting rid of memes from my portfolio in 2021. Like, I daytraded PLTR when it was around $31 or KTOS when it was above $25. If I held those I would most likely an hero

>Hotels have multiple TVs, multiple couches, multiple rooms.
Only in big cities, is my point. If I am going to stay in down town Los Angeles, i will stay in a nice hotel around DTLA. If I want to visit the beaches? I will get an Airbnb by the beach.

What do you don't understand , because you are a poorfag who has only traveled on poorfag budgets, is that you cannot get hotels with amenities and recreational things (lounging areas, grill and chill areas) in 90%.

If you actually had money to spend on vacations you wouldn't naively think that you can get multiple TV's, couches, rooms, if you were traveling to say, Zion National Park. You have to be some poor hick who has never left his home state if you unironically think hotels with that many rooms exist outside of niche metro area markets.

Religion (with its gods) and science (with its theory of evolution) have poisoned your mind so much that you are now unable to see the obvious. Most importantly, doesn't it seem rather odd to you that, in the 5,500 years of recorded history, there has never been an official school of thought that states, "The current ruling elite of Earth created humanity," or one that states, "Aliens created humanity"? Well, the reason why these two schools of thought have never come to fruition is because Earth's alien rulers would never dare allow such concepts (in other words, the truth) to be openly discussed in academia.

Sure, I believe that. Which is why I think we're just going to continue pumping once things hit technical "buy" levels again. Looking at the pattern in RSI and MACD over the last year it seems like the first or second week of March will be the "bottom" before the next leg up.

TA is useful because it can quantify that "feeling" into hard numbers.
The most common ones are 200 and 50 SMA to look at middle term trends. If it's below both of them, then yes, there's probably a fundamental reason behind the stock being shit and it will probably keep shitting. But when it starts to reverse above them, that can signal a chance for you to get out.
Like anything else, it's a tool, it just depends on how you use it.

That's the other side of it too. TA is for trends and trading. FA is for long term holds and investments. Holding a distressed company for 20 years is a long time for people here, and consider how many shitcos folded in that time. Granted, stuff like IBM and Oracle and Blackberry are still around.
But for longer term investments, you have to look at the macro picture and figure where things are going to go in that time. Much harder than reading price action imo

First;yes they've done stock buybacks recently. 2nd, hell pretty much anything you eat has sugar in it. If anything PEP would be effected by this "push back" more due to the snacks and soda both. 3rd. This same shat was done back in the 70's/80s; sugar is bad, don't drink it, save yourselves@! No, I don't. TSON seems like a pretty solid goyslop co and a defensive stock because there is a sliding scale of consumer staple to consumer discretionary and a place like WING is more of a consumer discretionary and TSON is very much a staple because everyone knows that our middle class / lower class parents bought TSON products to stuff in the fridge

I don't really like to think about timeframes because I'm not trading options on WING but it is pretty funny that WING went more than 2x since May 2022. I mean seriously, is Wingstop worth twice as much as it was 9 months ago?

Wingstop has solid wings though. Like if you are craving wings then you should seriously get Wingstop because they specialize in Wings and Buffalo Wild Wing sauces and chicken suck cock (pun intended)

Ah but you can buy puts as a downside hedge (rather than a directional movement). You can also sell CCs against a long position or buy a fence/collar spread to lock in profits during times of uncertainty. Solo puts are difficult to use alone, and you often pay a huge premium.

Got this as a tail hedge on SPY, for example
https://optionstrat.com/s9SA3YH2SKzP

Another put strategy is a bear put credit spread. I've seen someone mention that with the right setup, a 0dte SPX trade works in 4/5 environments (small dip, neutral, small rally, large rally), the only loss is when the market shits itself downward hard

30-45 days is the sweet spot when theta decay really starts to increase in your favor. Look at the price to buy an ATM strangle for that expiry; this helps forecast where the market has priced the options (in terms of IV). The breakevens are your target strikes.
What I like to do is set the call to 1-2 strikes past 1SD or the breakeven, whichever is further away.

It's a marathon, not a race. The goal is to farm premium, without getting assigned. If you combine this with selling CSPs, then you're doing the wheel strategy. Ideally do it when the trend favors the direction (eg sell CCs when slightly bearish)

Think of it as a form of risk management. You're considering all the outlandish and wildly impossible things and assigning a likelihood of them happening. Then, you invest around it, making sure that you are properly hedged

won't the water treatment plant take care of the vinyl?

It was several different chemicals; many were exposed to a controlled burn, which ostensibly means they are less dangerous, but now are different chemicals. Also, there's the issue of shit getting into the water table. That's the scary part.
Water treatment plants can only do so much; not all of them are equipped to filter extreme shit

Nah.. I can remember I was in 7th grade watching buildings fall down on TV and confused why 15 Saudis, 2 UAE, 1 Lebanon and 1 Egyptian hijacker means we should invade iraq/Afghanistan or why random buildings that weren't even hit fell down

I watched them lie about spying on Americans and collecting/selling their data and now everyone just doesn't give a fuck about privacy anymore and buys another Alexa for their house

I watched them larp about yellow cake uranium

I've watched mental illness, mass shootings and pharmaceutical drugs increase in prevalence exponentially while they tell everyone testosterone/toxic masculinity is bad and that they should eat some more soi

I watched them design, release and reexplain the origins of covid repeatedly (its from the wet market, don't call it a China virus, it's not from a lab, okay it's from a lab)

Hundreds of declassified projects from the past that "were conspiracies" are declassified now and real. So many obvious glow nigger stories pop up all the time and then get memory holed

I dunno man I could go on for days about all the glow nigger shit like the Vegas mass shooting that just got memory holed. Ahhh quick run a news story about a Chinese balloon

I read the aggregated news every day and there was literally zero shit on the train derailment anywhere near the front page
