The usual discord nufudders are actually a lower form of life than unpaid internet janitors:
>constantly making 50+ pbtid fudding in discussion threads over 10+ hours whenever they're up
>the rest of the time they seem to be seething, samefagging, and monitoring in up to 6 fud threads at any one time during their "rush hour"
>they have been doing this possibly since 2021, when a lot of them bought the top and never recovered
>others lost their stacks on bancor and celsius
>some even think that they're "fighting the wef" by posting on here - yes they're that retarded
>lets be generous with the math and say that they've only done this for five days a week (including holidays) for one year (50x52=2600 hours spent doing this maybe)
>all over an apparently shitty and unimportant crypto
>on a board that doesn't even affect the prices
>all for FREE

Don't own Link so don't really care about it's price action but from working at a crypto Company with far less people then Chainlink Labs (not as well known as Link but everyone here has heard of it). We are knocking out features weekly and in the early stages of staking that shouldnt take no more then 3 months tops to implement.

The roadmap timeline for LINK seems reasonable but actual deliveries being years late makes no sense unless there is abysmal Product Development processes.

Some of the oracle feeds are self-sustaining now. As crypto gains more mainstream traction more and more feeds/services will be self-sustaining and won't need to be subsidized by Chainlink Labs.
That's the whole point of Chainlink SCALE, which is to get the services subsidized in the short-term so that more fees are generated and then eventually stopping the subsidization once suitable. I wonder how successful they've been with SCALE though, I know they recently onboarded another project to their program but aside from that we haven't heard a word from the previous participants.

We're transitioning out of the wild-west days of crypto. Smart-contracts came with Ethereum in 2015, were you expecting a revolutionary new tech to have full tech-maturity + mainstream adoption in just 7-8 years? Starting in 2021 this shit entered mainstream consciousness and starting last year we started getting actual institutional adoption.
I will speak about my bags because they're the protocols I know best about, but SWIFT is entering blockchain space and currently working with Chainlink, Oasis protocol has institutional adoption (Meta AI, Equifax, and two genetics companies), and Avalanche has legit partnerships (as in, Avalabs did not have to pay for a "partnership") with some mainstream players (GREE and KKR). Mainstream traction is coming onboard now, less than a decade since the advent of smartcontracts. Seems like a normal time-frame to me.

Again, a paradigm shifting, disruptive technology won't get onboarded straight away. The tech was shit for several years, Ethereum was basically just a proof of concept. 2018-present is when the tech started getting refined into useable services/products that would facilitate mainstream adoption.
So you get an idea, in the medical industry it takes like 10+ years from Proof of Concept until a new treatment gets released. Do you think something which is disrupting the current system which processes quadrillions of dollars is just going to migrate to Web3/crypto in a much shorter timeframe than that? It's been 8 years since Ethereum released, and we're now getting legit adoption. We're on schedule.
