Stop focusing on "saving" money and focus more on increasing your cashflow. If you make 10k/month you don't give a fuck about pinching pennies, not buying your daily coffee will not make you rich. Obviously if you waste money on dumb shit tighten up but cashflow>saving

only partially right.

cash flow without a proper investment strategy is capital wasted.
savings accounts especially in the US are brainless as the interest rates are below 1%.
savings accounts in places like Uruguay are actually smart as interest rates are near 8-10%

what separates the avg man from the rich man is the simple matter of HOW they use money to work FOR them as opposed to doing nothing like sitting in a US bank.

I blow like $20-40 a day on cabs
I works out to like $8-10k a year. But in my city car insurance is like $3k a year and then you gotta consider the cost of the car itself, gas, maintenance.
Then there's the whole hassle of parking and dealing with other drivers. For $10-20 a day the luxury of getting to take a nap and wake up at work in 15 minutes is worth it.

Each money I limit myself to a certain amount of "random" expenses each month, which is everything that is not rent, utilities (incl. cell), and car insurance. Currently, I made about $7,000 a month post taxes, and allow myself $900 of "random." This could be anything from gym membership, to banjo lessons, to eating out, to a case of beer, to some product I buy. I used to be in the bad habit of seeing some product, then just immediately buying it. Now, when I want something, I write it on my "Buy" list, in the small notebook I also use for daily To Do lists. If I do buy something from this "buy" list, then the rest of the month, I need to spend less on other "random," to still keep within my limit. This lets me buy things, but in moderation.

Also, keeping my rent cheap, either from roommates or cheap apartments (usually further out in the city and smaller, perhaps in a higher crime neighborhood), has saved me a ton. The difference between $900 solo rent or $400 roommate rent versus some bougie $1,600/month place is huge.

Once you get good at biking, you own the road, traffic or not. You learn to move with and through the cars, like water, so if a car suddenly changes its flow, you instinctively do as well, as with a changing current, and that's that. I love biking in the city, blowing through traffic, past buses, and it costs me nothing except the occasional $6 for a popped tube or $12 for a new chain. If you're that afraid, wear a helmet. In my 12 years of city biking, I have been hit a couple times (no helmet), usually my own fault, but it's never even resulted in a broken bone. Usually, just some painful road rashes and deep bruising. Stop being such a bitch, Anon.

It also prevents you from falling ill more often and just spending money to see a doctor in general. Its one of the most obvious red pills. Wholefood diets with high quality meats, fats, some veggies, fruit, dairy eggs etc Rice and potatoes are a staple too. I cook from scratch daily. I made a chuck roast the other day with bone broth.

I seared that bad boy on all sides for a few minutes and then steam pressured cooked. Used the broth to make some gravy with mushrooms and onions sauteed. Roasted potatoes and a small spinach salad.

Everyone says cooking is a waste of time but in the long run its a high ROI activity if done properly.

NGMI you need to learn the art of sacrifice and using all means at your disposal. Unless you have some stupid mental attachment you shouldnt be treating yourself if you’re broke. The whole idea is you should be so insanely ambitious and motivated that any single thing inhibiting your success should disgust you. So that’s going out for meals every night, buying coffees, basically living like a girl, start living like a Spartan and embrace hardship, it will make you tougher and your break even will be much lower, even if you’re broke before you know it you will have saved 10k which is above a lot of average wagies savings, then you start to invest alongside and compounding your income and using it to make moves for yourself

This. The bike pill is real. When you drive a car you envy others in nicer, better cars. When you ride a bike you envy no man. It’s like you are in on the worlds biggest secret. You bike to work or running errands and every trip is an adventure. You aren’t phasing out or in a mind numbing commute - you’re fully aware of your senses. Taking in your surroundings like never before, appreciating nature and landscapes you take for granted in a car.

Being fit and biking to work, passing overweight sally and Greg in their European copemobiles , stuck in commutes and hating their life, is the ultimate feeling.

The bike pill is so real that if you have to commute to work you 100% should bike (weather pending) and if you live too far away then either move closer or get a new job that’s closer. The bike pill is that real

I actually save a pretty decent amount by having monthly Amazon Prime subscribe and save orders. You just need to fudge and shuffle items so that you're getting month after month 15% savings on all of the items.
Write down a list of regular purchases thing like shampoo or paper towels, buy them in large packs where available and sometimes hoard when necessary.
I also min max my credit card rewards. Have a Prime card, run of the mill card and a Amex Platinum. The Amex platinum pays you back in terms of rewards which ends up negating the price per year. I get Uber cash, my streaming services paid, etc. If you only buy as much on the cards as you have in your account and pay it off once the transactions settle you can exploit them for so many benefits.
For food items I go to the grocery store and every month they mail me coupons based on my purchases and I get a very small amount of cash back for gas.
When I go into the city near me or out to drink I take the metro for a few bucks even though it takes an hour because it beats paying $25 for every trip in either direction.
I also cook for myself almost always, I don't eat meat or dairy products so I just save tons of money eating grains, pasta frozen veg, etc. Padding your daily meals with ramen, rice and cooking deserts for yourself like Jello is really cheap. On an average day my food expenses are only like $6-7 factoring in energy drinks, coffee, etc. Avoid eating out as much as possible.
Also don't listen to the retards who are telling you to burn your cash on stupid shit. I used to be a personal assistant to a CEO and I guarantee you that outside of flashy shows of cash or social media zoomers who project wealth millionaires are the cheapest fucks on the planet haggling over everything and going to Costco and shit.
Also when you get things like research studies or Nielson surveys take advantage of them when you have time on your hands (like time you'd be posting here because you're doing bullshit).

bike pill only works in a city where there is both a grid neighborhood street layout (cut through neighborhood, save time, avoid traffic) and a grocery store within 1 mile. Thats how I've gone for close to 6 years on the bikepill. heck on heavy traffic days, I travel faster than cars, traffic has no effect on my times.
