Same principle extends to actual govt employees. They don't play video games but the IT guys where I'm at will not answer a single question unless you open a ticket. Fair enough

I've worked with plenty of competent and productive people who didn't milk it and just do the minimum, but if you're getting taken advantage of you can always fall back on your salary grade/job description. Never think about work after the day is over, basically can't get fired, lots of time off. Just have to get lucky and not work under some roastie
