Link will melt faces at some point. Sounds like you've allocated too much in it. Take some off and play with shitcoins. I have the stack I'm comfy with, and I don't even look at it.

In the meantime, look for charts that look like GRT did at 8c. In other words, look for coins that have reclaimed the bottom of their June - Oct '22 range, and you can aim for the top of the range.

You can go halfsies. Personally, I'd feel pretty anxious not being cash heavy this year, and crypto heavy the next one.

>>53635867
I know I'd want to be out end of March at the latest, but I pay attention to the charts every day, and have no problem changing gears. 50-80% in a month or two isn't much. Look at how much ETH pumped in between Feb-June of 2019.

>>53635905
Can't really say, but as I read these charts, 19k is the level below which we go into the FTX crash territory. BTC and alts in general need to hold above their pre-ftx june-oct range. That's one of my criteria as I play this echo bubble thesis.

>>53636032
Cope and dilate. If FTX crashing couldn't make ETH drop below 1k, what do you think will do it? Inflation's coming down, the dollar will at best have a dead cat bounce up to 110-112, and that can only really take BTC down to 17k or so. Even still, I've made and locked around 50% profit since the beginning of this year. That money's not getting deployed until I see another BTC crash. I'm not worried, and if any of you followed any of my charts (and esp GRT and PRQ) then you're up more than 2x already.

My advice is to do like me and lock as much profit from this echo bubble as possible. Once you realize the profit, don't fucking touch it. The year is just getting started. As GCR pointed out, there's no new liquidity entering the market. It's the same pool of cash floating from one hot item to the next. On the other hand, there's no more liquidity leaving the market either, so we shouldn't see new lows (for BTC/ETH at least...some alts may very well see new lows).

Take out initial, set buy orders between 11-14c, try and sell back at 25-30c, hold some to try and sell above 35-40c and everything at 50c.

Buy back months from now at around 8-10c.

>>53636726
I don't plan on selling any link, but if I did, I'd start selling above 12 and sell most by 20. Reason I don't plan on selling is because LINK went on a secular run last time, and I don't want to be caught offside if that happens again.

>>53638231
QNT is up ~4x from it's lows. That's more than enough and for the sake of this echo bubble. I think you should look elsewhere, and if BTC doesn't dump (and there's a chance it hits 20k soon), then FIL looks like a nice setup.

But generally speaking if you can find a coin that abides by this formula:

- closes above jun - oct '22 range
- at the bottom of that range

then it might be a good buy.

...all this is contingent on BTC not shitting the bed and losing 19k, so tread carefully and take profits if you have them...dry powder for the next downturn.

>> No.53638458
File: 134 KB, 1504x777, qi.jpg [View same] [iqdb] [saucenao] [google]
53638458

>>53638413
Here's another one that abides by that formula and looks like GRT at 8c. The reason I like this setup is because the risk is minimized, i.e., if it loses the jun-oct range, then I know I should sell, but if you can get it at the bottom of that range, there's a chance you can hit the top, too.

One possibility to keep in mind is that BTC drops to 20k and setups like these are ruined. In other words, they lose the jun-oct range. If that happens, then my system says you should sell for a loss (again minimal since if you bought close to the bottom of the range, the invalidation is tight). However, if it returns back IN THE RANGE, then it becomes a buy again.

I couldn't tell you what the fuck it is or why 13's a good number, but I saw an OG shill it on twitter years and years ago. Added it to my indicators, back tested it and now use it in conjunction with other things (never by itself), and it's been surprisingly effective. In other words, I use it to give me that little bit of extra confidence to enter or exit a trade, but I don't take it seriously by itself.

Apart from that I have the meme 20, 50, 200 MA's that seem to mean something to boomers trading SPX and DXY.

Another one I recommend which seems too good to be true, but I saw it in action is the "Pi Cycle Bottom Indicator."

Looks alright for now, and it's doing what I thought it would, but if BTC does dump to 20k, support 1 will def get tested. If you bought there, like I said you should, then if it closes below, it shouldn't hurt too bad. If it doesn't close below, then it's fine, and bullish even.

Keep in mind that alts run only as long as BTC plays ball...If it doesn't, then everything's out the window. My sense is there's some predatory trading right now riding on the back of the coinbase tweets about staking, and I say that because BTC dumped a bit, but SPX did not move. We'll have clarity tomorrow after boomer stonks wake up. Could be that BTC is frontrunning something.
