Chainlink will perform AI guardrail duties, to ensure we do not have a skynet scenario. So holding chainlink would be directly contributing to the potential advancement of AI. The basilisk relies on unalignment. How tf would an aligned, non-skynet, guardrailed AI go rogue and start hunting people down for not bringing about its birth? If chainlink succeeds in being guardrails there will be no basilisk, if it fails then there will be one, and link holders will be counted among its enemies
