Do yourself a real big favor, either switch to ChemE or CompSci now, or finish your shit degree out, get a job at the biggest company you possibly can, and leave for your MBA after 3 years of experience. Alternatively, take the MCAT/LSAT and start applying to med school or law school now. I wouldn't wish terminal MechE on my worst enemy. Fucking escape now.
Only possible route with MechE is get a job at a factory and work your way into operations and management. Everything else is shit, pays like trash, and has you doing work indians can replace you at.

I'm 40 and I went back to college to study an arts degree. I made it off crypto long ago, went through the depression stage and now I want to learn more about things that interest me. Expand who I am in a sense. Money isn't an object so why not get a degree?
I get OPs attitude as most people I try talk to act that way. But it's been like that my whole life so I'm used to it. There are young outcasts who give me an ear and I usually try repay by giving them investing advice.
I never really thought if what I am doing is good or bad in that sense. Don't care what society thinks. So yeh. That's my blogpost.
