Or do you mean National Forests? Because National Parks usually always have fees. Though... technically, the National Park Service manages other locations that aren't technically classified as National Parks, and those might be free... but every National Park that I've been to has had an entrance fee, or you need an annual country-wide pass (which I have).

Well, to be fair, some of the parks are big enough that you can get onto them without paying the fee through side entrances. I've been to spots at Rocky Mountain and Shenandoah where you can park and start hiking without going through the main gates. Those trailheads are essentially on the honor system... though at Shenandoah there was a ranger checking cars when we got back. It's also possible that not every national park on that pic has fees... like I doubt Gateway Arch in St. Louis has a fee just to walk up to it... but all of the ones I've been to did (Shenandoah, Badlands, Rocky Mountain, Arches, Sequoia) did.

Some of them are like $80 or more, such as Yellowstone and Yosemite. Or, you can be smart, and buy an Annual "America the Beautiful" pass for $60 and that gets you everywhere. I don't actually really go to any NPs (even though there are like four around me), but the annual pass works at National Forests too, which also have good hiking, though they don't have the same level of facilities as NPs.
