The future is now

Robinhood is a commission free stock trading app on iOS/Android

--Robinhood FAQs --
- VISIT THE WEBSITE FIRST DAMMIT!! - www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on the cash and securities in Robinhood accounts, much like a bank collects interest on cash deposits and by collecting fees from robinhood gold.

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are *** and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-*** for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

>that ~2% figure is annualized

it was incorrect to use the term 'annualized', should've used 'the annual rate'

also, inflation can have a compounding impact (when you compound using "real return" you're accounting for the compounding loss of purchasing power, by subtracting inflation from your nominal rate of return), it's just that the annual inflation rate, itself, is not calculated based on a compounding method - as far as I know.

This is reaction to the news that FFT is getting in on that sweet CBD oil market.

Namaste Technologies, coming off two days of ridiculous pumps, did it again at open. I had a sell order on the bleeding edge of what i thought it could do in a day and it blew past it that, kept on going. So i'm all sold on that stock and waiting for a dip to reenter.

they are in the process of changing over to an mj company. They are waiting for name and ticker change.

The float is getting locked, they can't really dilute anymore, once they get the name and ticker change and recognized as an MJ company its Boom time! it already has product that it has shipped samples of to some people, you can probably still get a sample if you email them asking for one.

It's under the radar for now, it's best to get in before all the change takes place to where people will see it as a new mj company, people love new mj companies and this is getting in before most find out.

i've been trading in and out of it for years, alot of people have been piling on to flip it, lately the trading on it has seemed like someone accumulating under $2.00.

Its a nano cap oil company that didn't go bankrupt during the slump in oil prices that in itself says something.

Also the company NEVER dilutes, they NEVER put out news, they NEVER have "hype" around them. in other words it's not just some PnD scam company

It's just a trading tool to swing up to $4, with a float of only 2.04mil. anything is possible.

The short (pun) answer is that you're betting a stock will go down. This is done by "borrowing" stock from a broker and immediately selling it on the market, waiting for share price to go down, buying it back at a low price, and returning it to the broker. You make the difference minus the fee the broker charged you to "borrow" the stock.

Do a search for more clarification. I'm pretty sure there are youtube videos explaining it as well. Also don't try it until you're really good at regular trading. You stand to lose so much more if you're wrong.

yes and no, the company has good hype surrounding it. if the company is going to do aswell as all the pumpers say it'll be then the dilution won't be much a problem, but as of now i see it as a problem, i deal with convertable notes and preferred shares and those investors want their money.

IF they do really well on next earnings stock could fly, but if o/s count is climbing up before earnings expect some dilution. Only thing that'll slow dilution is Rule 144a.

like i said, alot of people may hate me for my AMRS DD but i see dilution and i usually stay away from things like that, especially when AMRS has already failed in the past and they have competitors already established in the industry they are trying to get a foot in...

Speculation for now, wouldn't consider it an investment, but who knows, it could gain 100% overnight. Im just not in that kind of business.

if you want to go ahead and take someones word for it that is probably getting paid be my guest, i read the filings and did my own research, i try not to depend on any other persons research

AMRS got cash to continue operations you think DSM isn't going to want anything in return? they say max dilution is 90m which is a lie because there a/s count is alot higher and they will find a way to max it out.

Also if max share count fully diluted will be 90m there is only 44m right now, so what is that going to do to stock price?

I get that the company is onto something
I get that the company MIGHT be profitable someday
I get that the company has cash right now

The thing that i don't like is that the common stock price is going to be whats hurting and im not interested in holding something that is going to be more and more supply of. Maybe when they get to their fully diluted 90m (which is bullshit) i might think about getting in.

Im here to make money, im interested in stock price and things that will effect stock price, especially the things that most people don't see because they don't look for themselfs. A companys stock does not always follow their actual performance as a company, the company can be doing excellent but if there is too much dilution there isn't enough money to made for the common share holder.

I want to make money within a 6 month time frame not 2 years.

So now all these shorts are trapped at the bottom and are going to have to start covering, not only that but BGFV has been buying back shares reducing supply that shorts have to cover with.

They've been closing stores that aren't profitable and opening new ones. They just built one around the corner from my house, not going into an old building but knocking down an old pizza place and building a new building.

BGFV has money and isn't going anywhere any time soon. They're stock price is going to rise due to value alone, add a massive short squeeze onto that and we are golden pony boy

it's currently at 57.34% according to finviz.

When shorts borrow the shares they are going to have to buy back to pay the shares back eventually, If all the bulls, and i mean all the bulls are holding their shares up at $20 and the shorts need to cover, guess who the lowest seller is? the bulls sitting up at $20 and the shorts HAVE to buy it because there broker needs the shares paid back

massive short squeeze can happen instantly with it, they are trying hard to keep it down, it takes a long time to unravel a short postition of that size.

If you watch the trading on it, you'll notice that someone is either A. trying to accumulate or B. someone is trying to cover a massive short position, imo it's both
