Hey /biz
I'm all in Tezos since around october 2022. I have 13k tezzies with average buy around 1 dollar so i'm just barely breaking even right now. So the question is, i'm a bit fed up with this shitcoins performance and am now wondering if i should sell and buy something else. I keep track of their progress and i think its great but nothing really makes the price pump so i'm starting to lose hope.

this is seriously the biggest "legitamate" failure in all of crypto.
a supposedly serious project handled in a serious manner, no a jeet army of anonymous individuals.
took in 253 million of eth and btc in "donations" during its "not an ico". (that shit is worth way way more than a billion now, possibly 2 billionn...253m when eth was 300 bucks and btc was like 8k...
its a ghost chain, nobody cares, nobody is on it, its inflating away all its value in pos.

typical biz
and since you have always to do the opposite of what biz says...

Sadly, I agree.

Too much controversy at the beginning and all we got in the end was an Ethereum clone with an obscure smart contract programming language with better "governance" but nobody uses it because it has the SAME USE CASE AND SCALABILITY AS ETHEREUM.

RIP

Volume and price action is absolute dogshit. Smart money is not interested in Tezos so best avoid

Keep 100, just for fun, but put the rest into ICP.

ICP will be $60 this cycle, easy, and it has the possibly of going up to $3,000 in 10 years.

I get your points but certain thing will change with Mumbai upgrade. I read that they will implement smart contract optimistic rollups and that will support other developer languages so more developers will be able to join the project. They also plan to increase scalability and reduce block times. Also the Messari report for Q4 was quite good. TVL set an all time high and network usage showd growth. There was also an all time high in NFT volume.
I am worried about inflating supply tho.

My first crypto buy. Be prepared for literally fucking nothing while everything else is making moves. Have no idea what's fucking wrong with it.

Messari reports shill things that arent their holdings.
They hold a metric fuck ton of ICP, yet suspiciously stay silent about it during their reports, despite it exceeding most metrics they’re quantifying to outside investors.

look, hell...I was there when ICO mania was running wild and tezos was the absolute peak of the mania. That ICO by itself drove ethereum +$200 all by itself, tezos was THE ICO that you were all going to make it on.
in the end, the only ones who made it donated a fucking shitload of eth and then sold when it hit a few bucks.
>picrel and her husband also got insanely rich of course.
The writing was on the wall though, when the token launch it was less than 10% of the iou market prices and it would be years before the spot ever saw that price, and then its only doing it as part of the market wide pump.
