Learn to cut it yourself. If not, find a normal barber or even women's salon. Not one of those franchise one, preferably own by asians or mexicans. You can find them downtown or near/just outside lower income areas. The shittier looking place the better. If they've been there a while and in a crappy location or less than ideal building/stripmall, then you found the place. If not confident with any hairstylist, look for one with the old buzzer, clippers and combs. Any signs that they've cut hair for a while. Even better if they don't speak much english. Mines is a viet guy (only guy) working in a women's salon. He does women's hair 90% of the time, but can cut a perfect fade and scissor trim the top. He charges $20 and takes less than 10 mins. No talking and straight to business. He doesn't expect a tip but I ALWAYS pay cash with a $2-$5 tip so he has the choice to pocket it all or not. Their cash register is a drawer with loose bills and an iphone calculator lol. Been going to him for 5-6 years now every 3 weeks.

That I use as a tax deductible since my job requires a "professional" appearance. And for me, $350 a year for a necessity (not like coffee, alcohol or cigarettes) is easily justified. Its mandatory for my career. But as you can see, this is the one thing that I get to brag about. For guys out there that their appearance matters in their career, finding a cheap and good barber is like finding gold.
