Just imagine, there are wagies out there with absolutely no plans on making it. They're just content with whatever shit life they have. How do they do it without killing themselves?

They bet everything on crypto, lose it all, find Jesus, then become content with serving others instead of chasing the lambo.

I ask myself this whenever I hear my coworkers talk about money. I work in a warehouse and I'm 21 working with 36 year old dead ends who get drunk every weekend and play video games whilst having no savings.

There are hundreds of millions of wagies working right now at this very moment who are soon about to go home after a long day from work just to consoom all day leaving no wages left because they spent it all to cope and they're going back to work tomorrow and next week just to repeat the cycle all over again.

Truly baffles me how they do it

they have been programmed, by every aspect of media, to believe good things come to those who wait and adventures that don't happen today accumulate into bigger adventures tomorrow

they don't see their own lives the way you do.

this is called the double great paradox
the belief that it's ok that things aren't so great right now because when a great thing happens it'll be double great because everyone gets something great and it wasn't so great before so when they get their due great it'll be double great

>Worked for a few years at a restaurant bartending
>Kitchen guys were all late 20s, early 30s dudes, making $18 an hour, working a job with shit hours and no benefits, with no money, renting, would spend their off days smoking weed, and all they talked about was sports, fantasy football/hockey, and joe rogan podcast

Im not one to look down on anyone's life progress or choices, Ive worked shit jobs for many many years and been a stagnant consumer, but even at my worst I was investing my meager savings into chainlink and other cryptos and dreaming of something better for myself by the time im in my mid 30s. Its lynchian thinking about how many people are like that and they literally have NO aspirations at all for a better job or life purpose or learning. They dont even aspire to be rich neets eventually. They just...exist

its fear of death. waging is simply the path of least resistance for a lot of people.

they wake up one day and realize they wasted their life (thank God that happened to me at 23yo). They get scared and start doing something or they give up because they feel its too late anyway.

It's not all about money for them. They got a loving family, wife and kids, go on regular holidays to create memories meanwhile you will still be behind that monitor after if you make it.

they don't compare themselves to others
and they don't have daily fantasies where
they imagine themselves as the super hero in
a lambo with a ripped torso and a dime sitting next to them.
They do it by having realistic expectations for their lives.
