If I tried to predict where things will go next, I'd say intensifying the DeFi side of things once again. With FTX dying and Binance becoming too big for its own good and everything else looking more and more centralized nowadays.

Few projects are trying to do that but they exist and I'm guessing they'll implode sooner or later. Marlin's Oyster tech is all about running code in isolation of everything else to avoid tampering (for realsies this time), for example.
