You pea brained Mumu's realize that BTC follows the Nasdaq, right? Lots of important earnings reports due next week. The largest tech companies on earth are having their largest mass layoff in their history as companies. They ALL are preparing for a huge economic downturn. Any one buying now will wish they didn't next week.

Powell and scores of other economists believe the U.S. job market is too strong to allow inflation to fall. The combination of super-low unemployment and record-high job openings have fueled rapid wage growth, they contend, which forces businesses to raise prices to afford higher labor costs.

Powell has argued for months that the Fed must bring the labor market into “balance” before inflation could fall back to normal levels. But that means putting people out of work and leaving them with much fewer opportunities to find jobs after nearly two years of rapid inflation.

>why is BTC correlated to tech stocks?
It's because big traders who buy/sell tech stocks also buy/sell BTC. However, these aren't in the same ratios, because BTC has higher volatility than tech stocks (this is obvious, btw). So,
>what gets sold more when the markets are dumping, tech stocks or BTC?
BTC and other cryptos (also obviously). MSTF, GOOGL and AAPL are way "safer" in the normalnigger's mind, let alone the SPY. So then,

BTC can drop 40% because some Jew exchange fails while the nigdix doesn't move. Then spend the next month in perfect harmony. (Muh correlation which only works best during trading hours) BTC is still highly correlatated but as an example 20k less than it was the last time the basedtec market was at the similar level. BTC is undervalued against (a index) which is a stupid fucking thing to do. The index is top heavy and doesn't even unaperate on the same mechanics as a cryptocurrency. The only reason this relationship ever exists at any point is because institutional trading put Bitcoin at the tech desk. Man, I've had mumus scream at me for pointing out that BTC is inversely correlated to DXY. Saying that USD has nothing to do with BTC-USD is like saying BTC-ETH price has nothing to do with ETH price, but holy shit they will still say, "Nuh uh! DXY is down .3% and BTC is down 1% today!"
Like nothing outside of crypto's ecosystem actually influences crypto. I don't get it, but that's how they see it.
My guess with regard to their protests that BTC isn't basically a leveraged NDX is that they confuse what BTC is supposed to be versus what it actually is in the present time.
It's intended to be a commodity. A hedge against inflation. Digital gold.
What it actually is is a highly speculative tech stock that loses almost 80% of its value during an inflationary year.
It hurts because it's true.

Those annoying day in the life tiktoks really put a huge spotlight on their ineptitude. Amazing they didnt realize their clout addiction was them hastening their own demise.

Tldr-- getting rid of a shitton of dead weight is bullish af for tech. No more distractions, now all the producers can produce.

Thats not the primary reason because the rising goods are primarily due to other issues. Namely the rising prices are due to covid shutdowns fucking supply chains and the sanctions on Russia fucking basic goods. Russia is not only a major gas suppliet buy one of the largest fertilizer and grain exporters. Raising rates cannot fix this because food and energy are basic goods people need amd there is only so much you can resuce. The fed knows this.

The purpose of raising rates is to reload the chamber so to speak so that they can cut rates to goose the economy but they need to have enough to cut to have an impact and cutting from 2 to 0 wont cur it just see how much they cut in the last few recessions; pic related.

Now imagine if the dollar goes in to hyper inflation, however banks are ordered by law not to allow any assets being transferred to any crypto exchange as they are funding criminals, terrorists etc.
Then they will introduce a new digital dollar that is 'just as good as bitcoin' except it will have actual adaptation. Just what will the people do...
